A minimal linux distro would've given way more fps, and consider using the nvidium mod for modern fabric as it is one of the best.

bro i7 and i9 doesn't matter an i7 can be faster than a i9 and the latest gen i7 is faster in single core performance than the latest gen i9 is and java runtime is optimized for only dual or single core.

overclocking, linux, custom cooling should do the trick with the 14900k + 4090 and 32gb ram with some decent speed and timings

No matter what atlas does for optimization, a basic barebones version of linux is much better. I would recommend a version of linux called Arch Linux. It comes without a desktop environment, so you have to install one yourself. I recommend something super lightweight such as LXDE. This will yield much better optimization than atlas, or pretty much anything else other than a custom buildroot image with something like i3WM. Also, 3200mhz ram is a slight bottleneck. if you got a cheaper AIO you could have spent more on RAM and your motherboard, which could yield negligibly higher temps, but a lot more RAM performance. Intel 13th gen supports DDR5, which gets up to 8000mhz :).

Actually@@AyushTH , nvidia is very good with their nvidia drivers. Because nvidia not only supplies gamers with GPUs, but they also supply data centers with GPUs, they have great drivers for linux.

i think you can lower the amount of processes by alot i have 92 processes in windows10 while running 2 chrome windows and the task manager, lowering the processes could probably help you increase the fps by a bit

You could get much higher fps with fabric and mods like sodium on later versions like 1.19, 1.7 is the least laggiest on a normal survival world because it doesn't have to load things like deepslate, but 1.19 is better on a void world. Edit: I'm pretty sure you could also get much higher fps on a server, fps could also possibly be increased if a plugin that decreased the world build limit was used. Fabric is way less laggier than forge and there's many mods other than sodium like lithium and nvidium, but mods that don't increase your fps in a void world would decrease it slightly.

quick tip: load a void world (superflat configs > void preset) which doesn't have to render a single block when destroying the spawn platform. may improve framerate

yes but that also makes it use less gpu, which in some cases CAN actually make performance worse as it isn't using as much gpu so the clock speeds will be running at a much lower speed.
