I beat the Elden Ring No Hit Run at Level 1

RL1 No Hit RULES: Played on Current patch, No Glitches, Skips or Quit outs. Must complete the game as Level 1 Wretch starting class with no stat investments or taking any damage or staggers from enemies. Squilla, I'm 44 and in the best shape of my life physically and mentally. I've been exercising for 6 years and have been on a trt program per doctors orders and I promise you, man, you can still feel better a little older. Also glad you are feeling better

I know you said maybe 40 is the age when diminishing returns might kick in, but I can tell you it's possible to push it even later. I'm 48 and feel better than I felt at 28. Had a friend tell me using talismans, physick, and Weapon arts/Ashes of war and leveling weps past lv 3 is cheese for a RL1 (was using a +4 Dagger w/ Bloody Slash for Margit). Is that just them? Or is that a normally held opinion among hardcore players? This is my first “true” fromsoft game and I made sure to do my first full NG with no summons and no INT casting. Yours is a great run imo, shows how the prep and knowing the mechanics helps a ton, not saying anything critical bout this vid more so, am I missing something about what my friend is saying vs what I’m seeing in this VoD?

On launch, I had a feeling ER would become the most annoying of the soulsborne games to No Hit run. There are a lot more weird encounters and given the significantly less "hand-crafted" approach to level design, there's much more variance. Spawns are less reliable and the game is more balanced on the assumption that you will take damage, hence the Vigor meme.

I feel like it is easier to no hit. You don’t have duo bosses to deal with because everyone cheeses godskin duo with sleep pots, and you don’t fight any enemies besides bosses, most of which you can script much more than dark souls bosses.

I think you're talking about Blue Dancer Charm. It increases your AR (damage) based on how low your equip load is. But it's based on a flat number NOT a percentage so it doesn't matter what your max equip load is, only how far away from 0 you are. As soon as you put any armor on or wield a heavy weapon it's basically useless.
