Also, if you were to try and merge tornadoes IRL, it wouldn't happen. According to a video where a meteorologist reacted to weather scenes from movies, he mentioned that twisters like to be separate from one another. And if they were to merge, it would just be weakening them.

@@gabriella319 you don't force them to merge. Sometimes, if multiple tornadoes form and happen to cross paths, they will either weaken each other or dissipate altogether.

Check out the pilger Nebraska tornadoes. Two powerful tornadoes at the same time. And later a smaller tornado comes near the more powerful one. You can see it get weaker. Tornadoes don’t like each other
