No game was ever realistic. They just use countless tricks to mimic physics, weather, shadows and lighting, and many more real life stuff added to the game. However, it's not made to be realistic, but to look, feel, and be good. If it would be realistic, it wouldnt even be a game anymore but a simulation. And like, I didn't know that flowers, plants, grass and fires were 2D! ... They aren't. They're 3D in real life. It was just made to look good while not requiring a NASA computer. Don't be a fool and think that these tricks, such as using 2D for most plants and a fire 2D GIF as "realistic".
