The origin of scp 096: There was this man, who wanted to climb mount everest, was a guy or cocky guy, and went to a cabin, with a smug look, he said he will climb mt. Everest without problem, an old man warned him that people like him died on the mountain, but the explorer/man with a smug look, laugh and said "i can take it".and then the old man said "what will you do if you encounter the king?" The man said "then I'll take his crown" with a smug look.The man then continued his journey to climb the mountain, he climb and climb, with himself getting tired but kept on going, because his body didnt want to give up, and then saw a cave like hole in the mountain, and stayed there, as he was preparing to sleep, he looks up to the mountain, the mountain he has to climb that felt like it keeps on going and going up,reaching up to the heavens, in the first time, the explorer felt fear, as he closed his eyes, and got rest for the next day, and then the next day came, he continued his journey, and then reached a certain point(about 8,000M up) called "the death zone" where many people died, the explorer climb and stand on it, and saw another climber with a white jacket like thing, with their face covered with a black mask and goggles, the explorer felt something warm, like a fireplace, after seeing another climber, but then, the explorer realize it was death, he almost opened the door for death, and then the man concluded that the death feeling was from other climber, and then the man looked at the other climbers goggles, for it to see it glowing with a yellowish red color, much like a fireplace, the man felt fear, and then the otther climber said "what are you doing here mortal, are you trying to challenge me" and then the explorer replied "who-who are you?" And then the other climber laugh and replied "i am the king of the mountains, those who dare to challenge me will die", according to the scp foundation, this "other climber" is actually an scp called "scp 1529" otherwise known as "the king of the mountain" was the worst thing you could encounter while climbing mount everest. The explorer, was cowering in fear, then said "please don't kill me, all I wanted was to climb the mountain" and then scp 1529 laugh, and said "then you should climb and climb and climb." Then the man was suddenly on the mountain side, like he was back to square one, but without his gear, the explorer climb, still feeling scp 1529's glare, looking down at him, the explorer climb the mountain, over and over and over, with him getting skinnier due to malnutrition and lack of hydration, and his arms and legs stretching due to him climbing over, and over again, then the explorer was no longer human, Then the explorer reach the top again, encountering scp 1529 for the 100th time(maybe lower, idk it hehe😅) he was covering his face, and went down to the village, he was walking through the village, while sobbing, there was the villagers looking at him, the explorer then thought they were gonna help him, the explorer looked at the villagers, and saw the yellowish red glow of scp 1529, and the explorer felt something other than fear, it was anger, and went on a killing spree, and became otherwise known as SCP-096 or "shy guy" Take care, and watch out for scp 096 and scp 1529
