How to counter bosses almost every time: Have a teammate run Taunt, Kai Kai, and Majin Buu’s nap super soul for the ki recovery. Have your friend use taunt to force lock-on to them and proceed to spam Kai Kai whenever they get close while refreshing Taunt every now and again to keep lock-on. The boss player will be unable to catch them due to Kai Kai’s insane i-frames and potential to be anywhere at any time while the team can focus down the boss player without worry. It’s beyond lame as I’ve seen nobody counter this myself, so if you’re determined to make the boss have no fun, this is the loadout to use.

I've had someone do that but here's the thing... some moves are just giant attacks anyways so they can still hit the other players (ie explosive moves or assault rain)

@@-Lieutenant Or just spam Marbling Blast, Rage Saucer, or Peeler Storm (and the latter two automatically track your enemies) as often as possible. Peeler Storm alone is usually enough to either take out or severely damage at least a couple enemies, since it will target all enemy players.

I've made a nasty crystal raid build consisting of Ultimate Charge, Marbling Drop, Pearl Flash and X10 Kamehameha that can oneshot anyone who is not at max health. Run Gigantic Roar as it's insanely fast Angry Explosion for anyone trying to save their friends Peeler Storm to watch them fall like flies. My favorite.

It's certainly disappointing that we can't sue Awoken Skills as the boss in Crystal Raids. They sould have easily made them usable but as a sort of "Phase 2" mechanic where you could only use them once you dropped below 50% of your max health.
