My mother has never owned a mobile phone and she relies on the NBN working so that we can keep in touch. Her declining memory is such that I go there to help her out when she accidentally hits the wrong button and can't get it back.
It also puts a lot of stress on her and upsets her no end when the phone doesn't work because she believes it's because she was the cause of it and she berates herself. :( The government got it horribly wrong when setting up the NBN. They completely forgot about the needs of the elderly.

Hey Sharon, my mum has an alarm pendant that she wears around her neck but sometimes that's more of a pain than anything because she accidentally presses the alarm but and then wonders who the hell is talking to her. As for apologising, shit I should know better after watching your videos 🙄 😖 BTW, even though I have more subscribers than you do you have heaps more of interaction.
