Okay, for the tacos in a bag video: people do a variation of that on camping trips, but you don't cook the meat in the bag!!! You cook the meat separately and then add it into the bag afterwards. That and some shredded cheese instead of slices actually taste pretty good!

I used to think my self taught cooking was pretty good. Then I actually worked in kitchens around proper chefs and my home cooking suddenly seemed so povo. Then I discovered people like this woman, Kay's Cooking and Cooking with Jack and suddenly I realise my cooking isn't actually all that bad. It may not be restaurant quality, but I always get compliments from other people I cook for at least 😅

I thought Ken said “mints.” Mince just means “chopped finely” (minced onions.) Ironically there’s no animal meat in “mincemeat.” It’s a British pie filling we have here in the US traditionally around the holidays. The “meat” refers to tree-nut meat, the rest is dried fruit/raisins, distilled liquor (brandy?) & spices. Someone brought one to Thanksgiving dinner and the older folks loved it. I find it suspicious and stick to pecan, apple, pumpkin... the “one item” type pies.

As someone who spent over a decade in the beef industry I can assure you that the flipping vs boiling of ground beef depends on how much fat is in the beef, if there's not a lot of fat in it then the only way to cook it without burning it is to put it in the pan with water, put a lid on and cook it until the water evaporates.
