It still baffles me how they can take the most evil being known to mankind and turn him into an awkward dad that loves his daughter and rubber ducks. (I'm Christian and I still adore this show.) 💜

I think it helps that she didnt write him to be the big evil in the show, tho he clearly still has a scary and intimidating side. He's so relatable in the series tho!

I've got kind of mixed feelings on this show. The songs are amazing, the dialogue is great, the characters are endearing, and the humor is mostly on point. But the themes of forgiveness and redemption could've been done better if the show didn't rely so much on strawmen, which in my opinion kind of weakens the message a bit. Overall though it's definitely one of the best pseudo-indie animations I've seen

I got through half the season, but I couldn't finish it. The whole thing felt way too crass/wannabe edgy, and they put all that effort in trying way too hard.
