I bit the bullet and tried this Fluid Art Technique...

The Dutch Pour is a fan favorite but not a fluid art technique that captivates me but lately I've felt this small urge to do one! So I perused KZbin for videos and inspiration on what to and JUST WENT FOR IT!

Love the colors! My only piece of advice would be to switch the blowing direction as you go - left then right and so one so that it’s not one continuous streak. This is tricky on a small circular canvas. So you might just want to pucker up and blow! 😜

Love the colors especially that pop of bronze /copper or whatever . Dutch pours are hard. I think your paint was still to thick … if you can believe it ! I love you showing us what you’re working on! I like how it turned out !! 💕💕🐣

Merci Garrick de nous montrer ton authenticité et ta vulnérabilité. 🥰 Super dutch pour pour ta première fois. 👍 Je dirais qu'on peut observer que tu as du talent et de l'expérience dans d'autres techniques, ce qui t'as value une première plus élégante que la mienne. 😄😁 Il y a deux ans mon premier defi a été de faire des dutch pour. 😁 Kanella fesait et fait de si belles choses !! J'avais visée un peu haut pour ma première, avec une toile de 24"X20" environ. 😆😅🤣😂 Pour revenir à ta toile, tu as fait de beaux lacing dans ton soufflage. J'aimais beaucoup l'angle et le design quand tu as tourné ta toile de 90° vers la fin de ton vidéo. 🤗 Je trouvais ça très joli !!! 🎉 À bientôt Garrick et porte-toi bien d'ici là. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️

There was a lot of white paint in the center. Try to remove some of the center white so you don't have too much paint on the canvas...u won't have to tilt.xoxo

Oh my Garrick, good job, lovely colour combo. I had an epic fail in my last video but I still released it. My paints were too thick, I thought they were just right, I ended up overworking it. A subscriber commented I could have just finished it off with balloon kisses. Thanks for sharing 😊✨🫶🏻

If you have a thin base and stretch it off so it’s smooth then put a line of base either side of the colours for flow, also try adding a little drizzle of ca before you blow. Don’t stretch it out though you will lose the lovely fans. It looks pretty good and you’re awesome 🤩👊💙

I haven’t tried a Dutch Pour yet but I love that you said all masters of art started as beginners. I also love what you did and was sitting here encouraging more finger swirling.
