It's quite unfortunate that Nigeria is trying to put problem between the already oppressed, cheated and suffering poor pple of niger delta. I think this issue can be resolved if the constitution of Nigeria is amended and allowing all those local refineries and refiners concentrated in one locality and allowed to refine and government buys from them thereby legalizing the activities and making illegal bunkering less lucrative.

This is one area were our journalists always play cowardly on serious national issues. Collins was giving very helpful information and the interviewers are chickening away from listening. In any case Collins was not referring to Major General Zamani Lekwot rtd, because Lekwot was not the first joint task force conmander. In fact it is naive, very naive to suggest that you do not shave a man behind his head in this context. It is cowardly and grossly misleading to follow such unreasonable argument. What is practicable is that if an allegation is made, you are at liberty to give equal time to the other person to give a rebuttal and not to play the role of gate keeper to deny access to helpful information from one has the information. On the other hand, the other person in question is also at liberty to give a reply to allegation.

Why is the federal government using a brush without polish on a pair of shoes. Mr. Eselomo of the Ijaw peoples was referring to General Elias Zamani and not Major General Zamani Lekwot. That said, the award of the contract to Tompolo is part of the divide and rule tactics employed by all imperialists. Let the people that own the land, manage and control their resources.
