Haha, I wasn't, I promise. Truth to be told, I too was expecting a lighter blond initially but in reality, after the toner washed out about two weeks later, it's a pretty meaningful difference, and I think any lighter than that would be too much for me.

Hey you can change that with the right products and tricks, my hair is fine to medium. I’ve learnt if you spray your hair with dry shampoo and then put it up in a loose ponytail before bed 🛏 you’ll wake up with some volume 🙆🏼‍♀️ ✨enjoy your day!

Now this is a very realistic type of blonde for a brunette to go! Love it! Was worried this meant she wanted a shade closer to platinum which would have taken many appointments (if you wanted to maintain the integrity of your hair anyway).

For real! I have a love-hate relationship with blonde hair bc of the maintenance and the whole bleaching procedure. My hair is naturally thin, so I can't use too high volume developer, I also can't leave it on for any longer than 10 minutes, so my root retouches takes about 1,5 week if I don't want my hair to snap off.

I've got curly hair and I had some balayage done about a year and a half ago. I actually got the whole boho blonde look this girl wanted. From my experience, the colour looked great overall but my curls didn't. Bleaching sort of fried my curls. I tried to treat my hair with hair masks, curl shampoos, styling gels and foams but they didn't help. Now that I've got some blonde lowlights (and my roots are way back to normal) my curls feel fine and my hair is healthy again. I don't consider doing balayage again at all. If I do some highlights in the future I'll try some less aggressive methods with some milder colours. I don't see myself as a blonde again.

It's probably old and most likely it works a heck of a lot better than a brand new one. My sister in law has an old ass curler from 2001 that she treasures, because she says it works so much better than the new ones.

Boho blond isn't a a shade of blond, it's a type of hairstyle where hair is artistically braided or woven together, and show off the braiding there's different shades throughout the hair for contrast. If you look at 5:43 you can see what I'm talking about. This hairstyle would be less obvious if her hair was all one shade of brown or blond. The different shades throughout her hair help it pop

Bleaching hair that long is really time consuming and annoying if you don't like doing it bc you need to use so many foils lengthwise. If she wrapped all that hair up into one foil it would have been really blonde on top and really orange on the ends. Not cute!
