As a licensed cosmetologist I’d personally say this is more of a light copper brown with a balayage. It looks absolutely beautiful on her. I just wouldn’t say this is a strawberry blonde.

Thank you! I'm not seeing the strawberry or the blonde. I was under the impression that strawberry blonde was, basically, a reddish-toned BLONDE. The people I knew growing up who called themselves strawberry blonde...that's what their hair looked like.

I agree, but when I pause & look I see red throughout. Meaning different shots look different. Could it be the camera/lighting? To piggy off the comment above, my best friend has strawberry blonde hair. At times it looks blonde in pics, others red. It's not extreme either way

The thing is strawberry blonde can look so many different ways. If you look on Google or pinterest there's such a wide range of what it could look like. Even the 2 pictures they showed for inspiration were different looking.

@@KTKRules I hear what you’re saying but I think it’s incredibly difficult to recreate natural hair colors like strawberry blonde or dark blonde. I saw another one of these where the girl wanted to go dark blonde and her results were very similar to this. I guess darker hair has to go through an orange stage whereas natural dark/medium/strawberry blonde hair is already much cooler toned and the absence of orange and brightness is the definition of those colors.

It's not strawberry blonde though. It's more bronde like brown with blonde highlights. Strawberry blonde is lighter with a hint of copper since it's the lightest shade of natural red hair.

Not sure it’s clickbait since the client used the same term of ‘strawberry blonde’ and the celebrities she mentioned had that color. Maybe there was a breakdown of communication between the client and stylist

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who didn't notice any drastic change... I was expecting that the hair will be a little bit of reddish just like natural redheads... She is pretty with the darker blonde and the stylist could've done so much better on her hair instead of just giving her highlights and waves.

I was also a strawberry/golden blonde child and then it turned to ash blonde. Her end result looks sort of like when darker haired girls use Sun In plus a few added brassy stripes. That said, she somehow pulls it off pretty well.

This is NOT strawberry blonde, y'all naming colors incorrectly makes it even more difficult for stylists to explain tones and adjust people's expectations. Strawberry blonde is lighter and more copper with pink undertones, she got a natural golden balayge and highlights. The title would make you expect something a lot more dramatic!

For everyone saying this isn't strawberry blonde.... I can say as a stylist myself that its a color where everyone has there own interpretation of it. Sttawberry blonde and Caramel I think are the two colors where everyone has there own version. The inspo colors she showed weren't even really light enough to alot of people to be considered strawberry blonde (the first one... def... the second one is def a little lighter). Strawberry blondes HAVE to have alot of copper in them with the red. I love how ther color came out, If it were me though I would have used more copper. Hard to say tho cause in some lighting of the video its perfect. So just another example that lighting has a huge role in the outcome of color and how different it can look from place to place. People are also commenting that this isn't blonde. its brown and too dark to be categorized as blonde. If you Google the levels in Hair level 6 and up is considered blonde. Just 6 is usually considered brown blonde being the darkest blonde on the scale. Im sure the level of color she wanted to be was talked about in the consultation. She wanted to be low maintenance so the stylist kept the strawberry blonde the same level as her natural level so when it grows out it blends alot better than if she lightened the hair... her regrowth would have been ssuuppeerr obvious. Anywho... just my opinions!! I think it looks amazing! Strawberry blonde is a natural color. I'm shocked how many people think it has pink in it. The top of her head is a little too red, but the ends look pretty spot on. Growing up as a strawberry blonde, I first heard the term used to describe the Olsen twins when they were little. It's just a darker blonde with warmer tones, sometimes with more or less full on orange hairs.

When I was little kid my hair was blonde,too. It gotten a little darker,too. When I was 8 years old during picture day my hair was strawberry blonde. I had a bad sunburn during that summer. My hair is dark blonde with some red tones. Sometimes that I will bleached my hair to the lightest blonde color.

It's not what I think a strawberry blonde color looks like. But it still was very pretty and she seemed quite happy with the result. She said she wanted something low maintenance so I think the colorist did a great job.
