If your gauge is going all the way up to the red it means the engine is pushing 130C which is insane. Definitely needs more cooling.

It’s actually hitting 100C the car goes into fail safe mode at 105C

@@fifthgear93 How are your cars so unreliable? I put a M52B28 into my e36, left the original clutch fan and large radiator and never been over the mid point on the temp gauge. I've drifted for 5-10 mins straight so 3 laps in a row.

@@SSkyreSThe engine has been nothing but reliable so far, I've been drifting it for 3-4 years already, banging limiter, track drifting, street drifting. I removed the clutch fan as it was noticebaly making the car slower when the car got up to temperature, so I installed a regular electric fan. Apparently airflow is not enough, as the fan doesn't activate at full rpm when the car gets hot. I'll make it on a button to go to full rpm which ought to fix the problem.

It also appears to be the rings possibly. At the end it definatley looked like the head gasket went from all the smoke. I’ve warped one and it does that at the end. Hopefully not both and just a head gasket. The light smoke looked like rings tho.

@@chrisgr9050prob don’t have enough front grip. E36 are super gripped up in the rear with the stock alignment and how the alignment changes when the suspension is loaded

sooooo the reason they only do 1 event is that track has a mean decibel limit to it at around 110 db if i remember right, 4th of july is the only day there isnt a limit bc of the fireworks so thats why they rent it out every year. If not for 4th of july every car would be getting black flagged off the track

As i see, In most of your video your car is overheating. You should use bigger aluminum radiator with high RPM fans. 1J and 2J cars mostly go with big aluminum radiator
