Love that you call it The Dollar Twenty-five Tree! We are prone to power outages where I live so l bought a crap-ton of those work lights and have them all over the house. (At least 2 in each room.) They last forever and are fairly bright. The handles can be hooked over cabinet knobs or coat hooks -- that way they'll cast light across a room. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I got a couple of those can organizers at Big Lots a few years ago. Soda cans, canned goods, bags of rice and mixes... They are helpful. Also, crafters LOVE the wall stuff - the wall tiles and stone are great for lining the bottom of a wood serving tray, and the wood-grained wallpaper makes a great photo backdrop for taking photos of small craft projects.

I was tempted to buy the subway tile, but you showed that lining it up is harder than it looks - especially if you have light switches and power outlets on your kitchen wall. Be careful with the tile behind the stove. I ended up with Walmart peel & stick because the heat from the oven buckled the Dollar Tree tile. Dollar Tree tile is perfect for the bathroom! I love your videos! So happy to find you!

I bought some of those metal chained basket hangers last year. I use them on my fence with the little three ringed planters, that Dollar Tree also sells. I also used their small handled wire baskets as a pot with herbs and small trailing tomatoes. I like the way that it worked so well, I did the same thing in my pantry with one basket holding onions and the other holding potatoes. Now I imagine that would be too small for a larger family but the wire trash baskets may work.

I love the light, it’s made cheaply , but dang it is so bright! I say it’s worth it! Especially lights the room well when you lose power and the front flash light is so bright I literally can light the tree from across my drive way, the night light is cheaply made as well but it’s so bright!

I have used the glass version of the plant water dispenser. They were I believe 2 for $9.95 and watered the plants for 2-3 weeks at a time, depending on the season. In the winter because the air is drier, it would work closer to 2 weeks, and the spring and summer, it would be closer to 3 weeks. Of course it depends on your location and elevation as well. The only issue I had with the glass ones was the weight of the glass and water together was tipping the plant over, so please be careful, you don't want to lose your beautiful plants! They were awesome to have around for sure though! Just make sure it's not in a lightweight container, or make sure it's buried deep in the soil.

I bought the tiles for my laundry room. I spray painted them the color i needed, and if you need to cut, use a little double sided tape on the inside to close so it doesn't stay flapped open. You can mess with your patterns and not line up. It looks way better if when you attach next to each other, overlap a smidge onto the flat edge. I've had lots of compliments.

Also though, I gotta say, Vivian, I'd put money on you being a Millennial, too. People need to quit dragging our name through the mud. The year 2000 was 22 years ago and people just don't realize Millennials are at or around 40 years old. It's Gen Z that's doing all this crazy shit and think they invented everything. Those plastic tiles are a good idea! I had to check with two Dollar Tree stores before I found one that had 'em in stock. They also come in other styles, rock, a brick type style. Bought 'em and can't wait to try it out. It'll be in a place in my kitchen that is behind the fridge & stone and goes up to the ceiling, so if it works out, it will look so cool! P.S. If you pull all the tiles out, they are made so that it should be pretty easy to match them up. But I did buy an extra few, too.

Say goodbye to that Amaryllis. That's a wax bulb. You never water it. But I think you know that. I like the soda can organizer, but soda comes in 12 packs, and that holds 8. So that's a fail for me. The plant hanger is meant for those white plastic baskets you get at the grocery store or at the nurseries with the white hook hangers attatched. You remove that ugly white hanger and replace it with the chains. Very cute idea. The tiles, you're supposed to match up the short tiles to short tiles so they all come out the same size. Wow! Those things really stick! Can't believe that silverware is plastic! It SOUNDS like metal in the video! Did I count 5 different tops today? Love them all! OMG! I LOVE JEDI!! Great video and you gave me a couple of good belly laughs.

For those people who get so upset by a price hike...how many other items that you buy have gone up only 25 cents in 35 years? That’s not even a penny a year! Gasoline is more than a $1 higher than it was a little over a year ago, after all. As far as that wall tile...if you use it and want to remove it later, it can destroy the wall. I wanted to see if the tile board in my bathroom would look good painted white, and I tried one of these just to see. When I took the press-on tile off, it peeled off the surface of the wall board.

@@rhonni1624 the point of the price hike was so they can bring in BETTER ITEMS and alot of items you stopped seeing over the years was because they could afford to keep them at $1 well we will see those items come back. Also haven't you noticed the holiday and seasonal signs and decor quality sux past 2-3 years. Well since the hike we got METAL valentines day decor better than the $3-$5 ones at dollar general and plush ghomes I've seen sold elsewhere for $5... trust me once your stores roll out with the full array of new stuff you wouldnt have seen if it stayed a dollar you'll get it. I stopped buying the flowers because the quality was embarrassing for me to use on wreaths I charge money for and I can always pick out wreaths where people used all dollar tree items because the quality IS CHEAP. well the $50 worth of flowers I picked up last week (I got lucky my store isn't 1.25 until late feb-march) but the quality on most of the new ones rivaled the ones at Walmart and joanns. So when it is time for me to pay $1.25 I'll do it. Just the new containers with locking lids should show you the vsluevthey are giving you for 1.25! Best example I can give is that there are people that buy decor at walmart then decide they wanna step up and shop target or kohls....... those two are alittle more high end but you shop there when you want better quality and you expect to pay more to get it...so why not apply that thought to DT and D25T? Honestly, I cant wait to see the peoples reactions when they find out some stuff is staying $1 or you'll see 2 packs of things....multi item packaging for $1.25.

Vivian, I love you girl and your videos are informative and fun to watch. I'm a mom and grandma (62 here), and this is my opinion, but those plastic tiles are not really that great a bargain. Don't get me wrong. I love Dollar Tree and bargains like most. But these plastic tiles might have some use in a craft, but I wouldn't recommend in the kitchen, ESPECIALLY behind stoves where there is a heat source. Even if people have done this and hopefully they are not experiencing issues (of course we hope not!!), this can be a slippery slope. As for them not sticking, they did stick somewhat, and you only had them on a short time. Imagine if someone has them on longer then wanted to remove them...they WILL most likely remove part of the paint, wall covering or whatever substance is behind those plastic tiles. Especially renters if they have to remove...I'd think real careful first.

You could still make those gender reveal confetti sticks work. You could buy a package of black balloons from Dollar tree and then buy the gender reveal tubes pour the confetti into the Black balloon and blow it up and then pop it on revealed day. That might work 🙂

We did our kitchen backslash and the wall behind our stove and refrigerator in the Brown small tile sheets and no one has figured out that they are plastic unless we tell them. I wish I could attach a picture. It looks great.
