I agree that AI stocks will dominate 2024. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I know someone who has made more than 200% from NVIDIA last year.

I bought NVIDIA around September because my financial advisor recommended it to me. She said the company is selling shovels in a gold rush. It accounted for almost 80% of my market return this year.

the strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.

Those 13 look unlikely to outperform the SP500 (VOO). As I type this the SP500/VOO trades at 16x trailing cash flows and has estimates to grow earnings around 14% per year over the next 3-5 years. That's going to be tough to beat when loaded up with companies that are having their "moats" heavily eroded by customers and competitors (PYPL) or that are in industries with brutal economics and cyclical businesses (LUV). Great software but not a great execution on how to apply that software (averaging up into GOOG/L from 90 to 99 as one example as opposed to averaging down into BABA).

I would love to hear more about your DIS thesis. Sure it’s a great investment if their margins go back up but what’s truly going to drive that? They’re losing ability to raise prices at theme parks. They are in the midst of a reset/direction change of how they are leveraging Disney+ and Hulu. Marvel and Star Wars are in dead periods and their big movie/tv show plans won’t be coming into fruition for another full year and a half (at least). It’s rumored they are moving away from Disney+ completely… just a lot of uncertainty there.

I am also trying to understand why I could be wrong with why I am not interested in these picks. We might have a similar point of view: we both may see quality higher in our “checklist” for picking stocks and the team at everything money may look for value. What I am not understanding: if paul plans on holding stocks for 10+ years, why is valuation a big factor into his picks and why would they be sacrificing company quality? Let me know your input! @9:55 i've heard this before, but im not believer in it. I'm getting ready to turn 41, same only 5 friends since I was around 19. Two (just high school grads) are broke as can be making less than 35K, two of them have MBAs making less than 65K. Out of the 6 of us, i'm the only one who dropped out of high school so my only education is a Ged. I make more than all 5 of them and I'm the only one who has hit an 850 credit score. Currently 600K in investments while the rest of them have sub 30K. Now with that saying, I did ignore 401k until I was 29 because I felt I needed that money before then. I hate this saying of you're the product of the people you hang around with.

What about Nvidia which is going to be close to your past 75 USD target after 10:1 split. After 10:1 split your target 75 USD is not so far from 90 USD - are you going to start slowly to build position or still wait for 75 pullback? Looks like you get it right just forget to mention Split Inclusion to Target Price - Nostradamus precise performance. Recommend to mention Split predictions in every recommendation as its gave clarity and removing misunderstandings.

He only DCAs down I would bet, but you should average up in really great stocks (not all stocks). For example: Mo who 10x his position on Apple should've averaged up the whole way. While it is nice to have a stock that has "1000%" gains, mathematically youd be better off concentrating your investing dollars into the companies that you know will do the best. There were a lot of years between his initial price and when it 10x that he couldve averaged up to have higher total returns. It was probably a great price at many higher prices along the way.

I think influx of depositors increases the cash flow. That’s why banks don’t usually show free cash flow. Amex is special because they issue their own card.
