I Bought 3 MYSTERY Football Shirts Off DH GATE

0:23 Don’t say that. I’m in my 40’s and love wearing football tracksuit tops and hoodies. And the more interesting the design the better. 5:16 I’m similar as I don’t like wearing rivals shirts and with international shirts am inclined to avoid Argentina shirts too. But that shirt (forget the DHGate bit) I wouldn’t have bought, but now I’ve seen it, I’m tempted to get one. Love the flag on the back, that’s cleverly done and looks great. Definitely sort of shirt I would wear. Even though I usually look for either classic designs (Southampton/Denmark this season) or loud away shirts. Got that very loud Belgium training shirt from a few years ago. Think I might get this one. 12:19 strange to think that years ago before fan/player versions. You could tell the difference between your shirt and the one the players wore because the badge was embroidered if it was the same. A good example is the 1990 England shirt. They put out a fan version, where the badge was heat pressed and a limited edition World Cup one where the badge was embroidered. I got the limited edition at the time but it’s in a kids size so if I could find it, it probably wouldn’t be worth nearly as much as those limited editions will be. Those times in life where I kick myself just for being a child and wearing kids sizes like children do. 😂 But the for many years you could tell the difference between the shirt fans wore and what players wore because it was the replica shirts that were heat pressed and the players shirts were embroidered. Think players stopped wearing them because they rub your tit when you run.

Donn't worry about the MLS knowledge, most football fans outside of here in the US don't realize we have 3 Canadian clubs in the league lol. We're one of the very few domestic leagues that actually include clubs from more than 1 country. That is a sick pull to get though, even here in North America you don't see many Toronto shirts

The seller that sent you the Toronto shirt is my go to seller. I've got an authentic Toronto shirt from 2012 I picked up from a sports shop when I was on holiday over there. I had an interesting conversation with the assistant as they were a big fan of UK football and loved collecting shirts but couldn't buy authentic ones. I told them there just wasn't the market for them. How times have changed!

One difference I noticed with the United shirts is the Adidas logo is slightly off where it should be (to the right a little of team viewer sponsor on the real one but level with it on the fake). I have a few Athletic Club shirts off dhgate and once you notice the badge/sponsor not being dead centre between the stripes you can see it every time. But for what you pay for you can't go wrong really if that's the only difference

Well spotted mate 😊 I wasn’t sure if it was because one is a “fan” version and the other is a “player” because if you look at the genuine ones the sponsor badge etc are in different places. Good to know you can get Athletic Club shirts… they do a decent amount of teams to be fair

I have an "Authentic" one from DHgate - ordered the loose fitting fan version in XL (measuring 56cm pit to pit) and was sent the "Authentic" Player version in XL (supposed to be 54cm pit to pit) but it measures like a Extra small (39cm pit to pit). The difference between the "Authentic" player version and fan version is the Authentic badge at the bottom right of the shirt as well as the Adidas and Toronto logos being heatpressed on and raised rather than stiched. The player version also goes tigher by about 2cm from the waist down to the bottom of the shirt. Quick question what version/size is the Toronto FC shirt and does it say Regular Fit or Slim Fit next to the size.

I’ve bought at least a dozen shirts and not had a bad one yet. Even the retro kits have the correct number/name typeface on the rear. Love that Toronto shirt!

Same mate! I think collectors are snobby with DH Gate when in reality most people can’t tell the difference. Each to their own isn’t it - I’ve got loads of real shirts too, just prefer the fakes for filming and hanging up in the shed

I've noticed some sellers have a "player" version and a "fan" version. I ordered a 2XL fan version as I typically wear XL in t shirts. I'm 5'7 220lbs. An absolute unit. Hopefully it's not too loose lol

@@RysFootyParadise Well I wouldn't dare trying to buy an NFL jersey in this country, I you can only get the "Game" ones for less than £100, and they have printed numbers and logos on. If you get the "limited" ones which is usually stitched, off Fanatics you're talking upwards of £150-200

Their third kit this year was inspired by the big Caribbean fest we have in the summer and is cool looking. They were wearing it the one match I saw this season. Enjoying the vids and by and large have no major issues with the DH Gate. I have been burnt on sizing a couple times but that's my own fault not admitting the gut is getting bigger.
