You can check to see if blu-rays will work (PS4/Xbox One) by holding the graphic side up to the light and seeing if it shines through. Its much more rare for the shiny side of a Blu Ray to be scratched than it was for older DVDs and CDs, but a big part of their malfunction comes from the top graphic being slightly scratched in the wrong place. Would look perfect otherwise on the bottom but won't play at all. Source: Worked at a used game store and saw that issue often.

The special thing about the elite controllers is they have paddles on the back and adjustable triggers for fps games, you can program the paddles on the back to different buttons so you dont have to take your thumb off the joysticks

Those "bad" things look like bearings with a mount included. If it's bad, you can feel it if you spin it around. If there's resistance, then it's bad. I don't know quite what specs on them though, but they look like standard bearing mounts. Usually used for anything that spins in a mechanical sense. Strange, though. They use four screws rather than the normal two. They might be a specialty item.

I'm a full time reseller, He has to test a lot of these items, some won't work. He paid 218 for the box not sure if he included shipping in that. But he said he might make 400-500. I highly doubt he can get that, lets just say he made 400 back. After fees, shipping, taxes, returns, and shipping material cost he might get back alittle over 300 back from those items after costs. That doesn't even count returns or the items that may not work, so minus that. Plus you have to figure some items just won't sell, they may take up to a year or more to get a sale. Now you have to figure your time testing, listing, and shipping. Most people value there time at least 15 dollars an hour. My guess it would take 5 hours to get everything tested, researched, cleaned, listed, packaged, and shipped. 5x15= 75. So 218+75= 293. His profit is 7 dollars IF he sells everything (very very unlikely). So in summary, you are basically paying 218 dollars to GET 5 hours of work. Not good. Let's be realistic, this is most likely a GOOD box LOL. This shit is a waste of time, who ever sells these liquidation boxes are getting so much of an upper hand, they are basically getting TOP dollar and you get ALL the LIABILITY.

Elite series 2 controller just make sure it has the charge cable I think it is a micro USB or usb c cable, I can't remember. It has a rechargeable battery unlike the version 1 and it recharges via the case which is pretty cool.

You stated you might widen your horizons by getting kohl's, Target boxes, which sounds great, but did you know Michael's Crafts does Grab bags and mystery boxes for $4.00 a box or bag. I get them all the time, usually come out a few weeks after a season ends or a holiday is over. For the 8 boxes I got at Christmas I paid $32.00 for all, my total value was close to $3,000.00, and everything is brand new, you do come across some damaged items now and then, this would be great for Becky to do, it alot of house decor. Holy cow, I wonder if you got my Elite controller return. If you did, the left controller was leaning to left and I couldn't dial it in right (has little tool to adjust). It was a gift from the wife and I ended up finding one on Christmas sale and since it was being fincky it was a no brainer. I taped mine up just like that with regular shipping tape. I love those controllers, I have like 5 of those Elites, can't play on anything else anymore. Should sell no issues, I was just trying to be perfect with the adjustments, others might be able to adjust just fine for their play.

Elite controllers are having issues with the buttons breaking already. I have a series 1 that was in a series 2 box from liquidation. The extra parts are different lengths and such to dial in the controller for each user.

My experience with elite series 2 have been bad. I had two with button issues, first had right bumper stopped registering after week of light use. Exchange had left trigger sticking out of box. I gave up and just got my money back.

Everyone I know who's had issues are super rough with their controllers. Tossing them on the ground, gripping one side really hard when mashing buttons to the point of almost twisting it, pushing in the buttons as hard as they can, ect. The elite series controller has a lot going on. You csnt be rough with the thing. The standard controllers are much more simple and less can go wrong. That's why they give you a case and everything. I have both elite series controllers and both function wonderfully.
