I bought a 1/72 scale academy model sopwith camel ww1 for £4 was it worth it

A good builder for a very basic kit. Great for first time bi-plane builders....However there is an "Airways" P.E. kit out there for the old Revell 1/72 Camel kit , which is very close "genetically" to the Academy kit. You would be amazed at what a "Builder" with a bit of experience can get out of this little kit. Wish I could show you a Picture. I guess what I'm trying to say is this is a great first time bi-plane kit but it also offers something for those with a bit more experience. Which ever way you go I hope you enjoy Building this " honest " little Kit.

A great starter kit to introduce a youngster into the Hobby. My introduction many decades ago was an Airfix Bi-plane from their 'Baggy' range. I hope to see a build video soon.

Thank you nick for the comment I will be buying two more of these kits for my sons and daughter to build there is a time lap of this build and the 2nd part will be dropping in the next day or so thanks again happy modeling

Not got any Academy kits and not got a Sopwith Camel ,shall endeavour to rectify that with one of these .
