Did you ever unlock and tune it? I have a ‘22 M package with a Bren tune and it’s so much better than stock! Titanium Akra headers paired with a SC-1R carbon can. It’s amazing. Sure;y you have figured out by now that the red, white, blue is BMW m sport colors….. just as on the cars.

Pretty awesome video. And……I just sold my V4S and ordered an S1000RR M. They just told me a chassis number was assigned which I believe means they are building it. I keep hearing not to Bren Tune it. I’m hearing the tune gets it to close to the engine limits and I would risk blowing the motor. Such a beautiful bike

Almost sure that’s a base model S1000RR and not the M spec. It’s missing the M brakes, longer swing arm, winglets as far as I can tell. Still a dream bike though.

The newer bikes have the “M brakes”. He has the first year bike and many of those black calipers were faulty and leaky. They dumped them. My ‘22 m package (not M1000RR) came with the blue calipers as did all the newer bikes. Maybe starting in ‘21 or ‘22.
