Wow Renee. Very few people outside Baltimore realize that Babe Ruth was originally drafted by the Orioles when they were a minor league team. He was traded to the Red Sox and was instrumental in their early World Series wins as a pitcher. Those posters, BTW, are awesome. Another entertaining video.

A unit the pays for itself a couple times over and provides you some great posters that you can keep or sell, what could be better? You seem to have a knack for this storage unit thing! The last poster is really a piece of art. Might be another poster behind it or might be packed with cardboard, newspaper (or money) to keep it from sloshing around in the frame! It's not often I come across Red Cross posters, so this was a great unit! I just looked up the Bissel and it is on Amazon for $229. It looks like it was barely used and has a canister, not a bag, so a little cleaning and I'll have myself a "new" vacuum. I'll sell the large poster and then have to decide if I want to keep one of the smaller one. The 1953 print would have been during the Korean War and there are a few online for around $200. I still have to carefully lift up the nails on that one to see if there's another poster behind it. If there would be, I'll let you know!

I saw a few online, around $200, with a bit of condition issues. I think the frame was a great choice for it! I’m afraid to see if there’s another poster in there, but it certainly looks like that frame might have 2!

Feminine pads are also used for bleeding wounds. They are great for puncture wounds in an emergency. Those posters are awesome! I would have a hard time to selling them. My favorite one is the last one.☺

Renee, I am thinking someone worked for Red Cross and those pictures were hung on the wall in their Red Cross office. It may be interesting to look into who rented that unit. It feels to me like someone retired and stored things from their office.

Be prepared for the worst, hope for the best, and: congrats, you were successful again ! 🤝Just the projectors are worth a pretty penny, same with the vacuum cleaner, the tools etc. etc. Red Cross items are collected worlwide, if the posters are genuine, you might sell them on ebay or a similar platform. The 1953 poster doesn´t just cover Red Cross topics, but also Korean War memorabilia. My estimate for the whole lot would be a few hundred bucks, who would have thought that at the beginning ! So, who told you that 2024 would be your lucky year ?! 🤔😊Greets from GER, U.

I’ve thought about seeing if putting the posters at auction would be the best route, but get discouraged thinking how much my other frame artwork didn’t sell for via the auction house. I do know that people collect different things & the market for these historical items might be a bit stronger. This upcoming week I’ll see if there’s another posting hiding behind the 1953 one, it sure looked like it could be! I’ll try out my new vacuum too! Cleanest vacuum I have ever come across in a unit! Unfortunately the desk chair won’t be a fit for me, but in its’ good condition, to the flea market it goes! I think my favorite is the 1953 poster, as I don’t come across many Korean War related items, especially from the Red Cross. So happy that I was the winner of this unit!

I have a similar radio. Check and see if there is a jack plug for a cassette player. Some have them. I stream NPR and music through mine. All you need is a simple cord to connect to your phone or computer.
