Today I may have made the biggest mistake of my life in purchasing my first supercar. This is the most entry level supercar out there (if you consider it a supercar, which I do). They are also known as being the most EXPENSIVE and UNRELIABLE BMW out there. So I bought the cheapest abused one on the market. Clearly, some brain cells are missing. You don’t HAVE too. They might recommend it mainly just as a piece of mind but the issues aren’t as common as people make them out to be.... the general consensus is the lower mileage/ones that are weekend cars that only get drive once a week, or 1-2 times per month tend to have more RB issues than ppl who daily and drive theirs more often. My e90 m3 for instance... I’m at 148k miles on factory RB and TA. No record of them ever being done.... sadly my bank 1 TA is on its way out. Since it’s started getting hotter being that it’s summertime it goes into limp mode at least once a day since it sits in the open sun all day long... but I know quite a few ppl in the groups who have 120k+ miles on their s65/s68 with factory RB/TA.... that 60k interval is for piece of mind.

I just picked up my own M6 Coupe for $9000 USD via wholesale as well. It's in really good shape, running like a dream over 1,000 km in 3 weeks, with no issues (currently) aside from a misfire that was fixed with a new spark plug. I hope that this car will treat you guys well, this is my second M6 and I'm absolutely in love with these cars. If you get it running nicely, and maintain it, it's an incredibly killer sleeper supercar, or alternatively, a pretty easy flip for around $20,000. I'm keeping mine, look forward to seeing what you guys do with this one!

I bought my E60 M5 for 4500. Me and my friend literally rebuilt it from the crank up, with no prior experience of breaking a engine down that far. Hes had two other E60 M5s so we knew somethings about it. We finsihed rebuilding it maybe 5 months ago and ive put 7k miles on it. It is a truly unique experience to drive a 4 door car that has a V10 in it.

The thing that your wondering what it is… it is a ski bag. It allows you to put your skis inside the trunk, then it goes into the cabin with that fabric over it , & it prevents the skis from scratching up the interior 💡

these don't have dipsticks for oil or trans fluid in fact the transmission is an smg so it doesn't use trans fluid it uses a special type of hydraulic fluid that has to be pumped in from the bottom. It's a pain.
