When I worked at different body repair shops over the years some of them used to change both number plates so it had the name of the garage on them. So you can't always trust the plate. I've just had to replace the front plate on my car but only because it fell off and that has the name of that garage.

Insurance in the UK is fucking ridiculous. Im 17 and tried to insure my 1.2litre vauxhall (opel) corsa c. Its a 2004 reg (worth £50 according to webuyanycar.com) and it cost £2300 to insure for the year

Should be an easy fix, join the Roadster Owners club, lots of parts on there from others, its a very late facelift so will have the 1zz with the revised pistons (larger oil drain holes) so the engine will be fine. Get a decat manifold and change over the chain tensioner O ring to a Viton O ring as the OEM one leaks. I have a mk3, currently building a forged 1zz turbo which should be good for around 400bhp or so, went with the Mk3 as they are easy to work on and are around 300kg lighter than the Mk2.
@Rakgnakgnak4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reference of the O ring. Mine is leaking.
@shinyparts4 жыл бұрын
@@Rakgnakgnak Its a fairly common issue, just remember to make sure you rotate the engine anticlockwise to release the tensioner when you do swap it over.

The Corvette prize is only shipped for free within the USA. The small print says “In all other countries the Grand Prize will be shipped (net of all taxes) to the nearest deliverable location, at the Winner's expense. Any applicable import duties, registration costs, or further taxes or duties of any nature due in the destination country will be the responsibility of the Winner.”

You guys may want to say that if someone from UK wins the omaze jackpot the shipping to the UK is at winners expense, and the import taxes you will get hit with will also be at the winners expense, or they can take 75% of the cash value instead.

We don't have dealer names on the plates here in the US, but I've been through the same thing- the plates were at least 16yrs old and quite faded. Luckily fairly cheap and I was able to keep the same plate number. And they look much better 😃
