I was skeptical of getting this mouse before watching this video. I knew the shape would suit me perfectly, (coming from a G502, just felt like it was too heavy) but the QC issues with the 710 really put me off. Anyway, I got the 711 and it is absolutely perfect. No quality issues whatsoever, and my aim is better than it's ever been. Definitely worth getting, especially for individuals who have larger hands and use a fingertip grip like myself.

I bought this exact one on amazon, aka white glossy around a month ago, switched from g703, can confirm that every old issue was fixed, the only thing thats kinda weird is when you press on right or left button hard enough you get a secondary psudo click, not a big deal at all, this mouse is arguably the best light weight mouse for a small hand, but something for cooler master to work on

So I am new to CoolerMaster products and had a question about the MM711 mouse. The mouse has a button that allows you to scroll through the DPI presets, but there are seven of them and they range from 400 to 16,000. To be realistic, I will only need two or three settings and never one as high as 16k. I saw some reviews say that with the software you can edit the presets, and I would like to do it so you only have to scroll through three, but I can't find a way to do it with the MasterPlus software, and I couldn't find any useful information by searching on Google or on the Cooler Master website. Am I missing something obvious or is it not possible?

It's a great mouse, unfortunately my MM711 will require some manual fixing due to the clikety-clackety sideways play on M1 and M2. It's a massive improvement over the 710, but it's still far from QC-free unfortunately. Then again I usually have bad luck with peripherals. Update: fixed my side wobble with 1 layer of 0.5 mm (yeah, that small) tape as a mod on the side of the plunger of the main buttons and it's rock solid now. No creaking, no wobble, very slight post travel but unnoticeable in game. Top device now. The clicks are tougher than on my first 710 (they were before the mod even) but I kind of like that. No accidental clicks here.

Not sure if you know but you guys can take out the diffuser inside of the mouse very easily with only four screws under the feet and it will bring the mouse's weight down to 55grams or so.

Guys please note that the newer batches of MM710 are fixed now and have the same build quality as the MM711, only thing your getting with the MM711 now is the RGB P.S. The way to know if your MM710 is the newer batch is by checking the mouse feet, if the feet have edges then you have a newer batch

The reason for 4ms response time is that any lower causes double click issues. Unless the mouse has optical switches, 4ms is the standard.

I love the quality of Cooler Master products, my old mouse was a coolermaster storm recon and I've been using it regularly since 2013 but unfortunately now it's time to retire it. Middle button is going out and mouse wheel is way too loose. I've chosen this mouse replace my old one, I hope it holds up like the old one did. I've had two razer mice before my storm recon (copperhead and deathadder) and they both felt cheaply made and didnt last me very long before they started giving me problems. If CM can keep up the good quality I will keep buying! Thanks for your video to give me insight into this mouse, it looks sick

I bought the mm711 as well. but... I am getting some really bad mouse dragging from the feet (i believe) on my (couple of years old now) Steelseries QCK XL mousepad. I'm worried that it's the copy i got, should i try and replace the feet with the extras that came with the package? And do you recomment the Glide 38 for this mouse? Thanks in advance. I tested all mice recommendations and the MM710 (updated version) is by far the badest! The Holes of the Honeycomb are so big that my thumb gets marks on the skin. The skin feels numb after a few minutes. I use a relaxt clawgrip and I am in trouble when I want to press the right mousebutton. My Ringfinger is in the big gap between button and case. Also the mouse has absolutely no ergonomic feeling. Comparing it to the Endgame XM1 (updated version), I think there is no competition. For me the endgame is the best mouse you can get right now. (My Hand is 18,5 x 10,5)

The MM710 has a flat edge where your thumb is supposed to rest so I never had any problems with my thumb resting on a honeycomb. Yeah I agree that it does concave quite a bit but it does not bother me too much, so I still would recommend it to those who would like a really light mouse

I got the glossy white version (amazon didn't give a choice to chose matte) and I've used it for about 6 weeks now and DO NOT GET THE GLOSSY WHITE if you can avoid it... I gets dirt specks in between the holes and it's A PAIN to clean I've tried to wash my hands before I use it and doesn't change at all

Biggest reason being that the MM711 had some very sharp edges in it's design - specifically the right click button which was rubbing against my ring finger. It was quite irritating. I love the Model O- though! Very excited to keep it and use it.

I still had the same problems with the Walmart special mm711. Had to do the same mods to it that I did with my mm710. This time I had to fix a wobbly scroll wheel which I didn’t have to before. The matte finish is also changed. The mm710 is less slippery and more textured which doesn’t accumulate too much finger gunk than the mm711. Love it for the rgb so I kept it. The led shroud was 5 grams so I took it off and replaced it with a joint paper.
