And yes, everything in here and Europe is taking foreveeeer and there is always COVID to blame. We are in lock down and will be probably for the next two months straight...arghh. For broaching, you can look into CNC broaching, it's slower but very accurate. You could also get a broaching tool which is carbide so you can still do it while it is in the lathe, and have a lot longer interval before needing to replace it. Best of luck!

I haven't been able to use any other craft knife since I got my maker knife and despite it being in my pocket, loose in my tools and just generally sat around wherever I've been using it, it's still in perfect condition and I've only had to tweak the locking mechanism on a couple of occasions! I will definitely be buying a Kinetic driver when I can afford to, as my small projects are crying out for such a tool - currently using a Draper Expert set and while it's nice, it's just not as tactile as I'd like. Thanks for all of your efforts to make fantastic, precise tools. They're wonderful! :-)

The counterfeit driver came up during a recent Amazon search and brought to the attention to one of my Discord groups. You know you’re onto something good when the pirates race to beat you to market. Regarding the Real McCoy, and echoing the *Don’t need it* ethos - because it’s true and my Wiha works very well indeed - while I do want it, very much, as I replied to the Kickstarter update, “I’d rather have it *right* than have it *right now*” Keep up the great work and thanks for the Transparancy and update. Stay healthy!

Giaco, I'd look into EDM machines - You can make any shape of electrode you like for extremely accurate 'cuts', even in hardened steels. The electrodes would be either carbon or tungsten and you could load multiple parts in at once and have a 'branch' of electrodes. At my old employer, we used to cut weight reduction pockets in the compressor turbine blades of industrial gas turbines and they would just keep on chugging through thousands of parts at a time with minimal maintenance and zero headaches Keep up the good work as always!

I can appreciate the attention to detail! Also, I’ve had similar experiences dealing with Italian companies in particular. Gets harder when we need parts for our Italian machines or support for them here in the US. Language barrier + engineering conversations + big time difference = painful. I don’t think it’s really a size-of-company thing - I think it’s just a more old-school way of doing business at some Italian companies maybe? Like an Italian Boomer mentality of not stressing about service or speedy replies? Takes us a minimum of 3 to 4 weeks just to get parts orders placed, then another two to three weeks for them to actually ship them (even when they’re in stock). It’s crazy. Who knows. The VP of our company is Italian but raised in France and he has some funny things (not super appropriate) to say about it haha.
