C grade is definitely a gamble, I know sometimes what they list there could be more or less than described, but I still say its worth the chance! Most of my C-Grades have been nearly spotless and saved a boat load of money. Congrats on your bunny! My main no-go for considering a C figure is if a piece is missing completely. Broken? I can take time to glue and fix, but missing completely I won't accept.

Yeah, if it has a missing part its a no go, but if its something like "Left Twin tail Peg fell off" or "Accessory X is unattached" then it's safe to get, as the only thing you need to fix those is glue. That's it. Getting a figure, up to 60% off, for something you can fix with one or two drops of glue? Amazing deal.

I've bought a figure that had a missing piece once, and it wasn't really an issue either. The base was supposed to have some loose panties lying around (the character was putting on a swimsuit), and the figure worked just as fine without the bonus detail to the base.

I got a c grade with a missing hand joint however the good part was is that It was literally the base hand. There was 5 other hand types,each for the accessories (I had gotten a c graded crane priestess miku) and all of the accessories still have their thing so I'm not missing out. I don't regret it! I'm also utterly obsessed with this one c grade where the entire figure is split in half I want it solely to fix it

honestly damaged amiami figures are amazing steals! I got a miku scale that was worth like 150 or so USD for 35 USD because one piece of her hair was damaged but I couldnt even find the part that was broken!! literally looked brand new T^T also you should def stream!! I would love to watch

Ugggh yesssss. LOVE Ami preowned. I collect a LOT of Nendoroids (as you roasted before) and they put up rare ones all the time for half the normal secondhand market and just missing one or two accessories. Such an easy way to get ahold of some of them.

And regarding streaming Persona 5, idk if it's different for company vtubers vs indie streamers but iirc Mori Calliope tried to get permissions for streaming Persona 5 and couldnt get it so if you need permission it might be difficult to do so. I wish you all the best if you do decide to stream, and I know you'll love the game when you are able to play it regardless! Some of the best turn based combat and soundtracks ever. I would personally recommend JP voices over EN.

A lot of us collect figures that simply look good/original characters, nothing wrong with that. If you're rule is to only buy from source materials you know, great, don't impose that rule on others.

Most profits from figures directly benefit the company, while streaming/buying/playing the original source material helps not only the original creator more, but also helps spread the source materials popularity more, not just the popularity of the figure instead. In order to get a healthy share of supporting original creators, every figure collector should at least watch a few episodes/ play a few games of each figure's source material instead of just companies using the license for profit 😊. (PS. It will make you happier looking at the figure if you had an emotional attachment to the character and not just the design ♥️)

It's valid if the original creator is problematic, like the creator of Rurouni Kenshin , but all the creators she has bought figures of the franchise of have been completely fine and deserve the direct support. Also, you have to understand, most sculptors in the industry are Commissioned by large companies with the sole purpose of getting more profit. Yes, the sculptor probably has a lot of passion for their work, but ultimately, the sculptor is doing their work for the company to make profit. As for artists, I have the same philosophy for original creators, you should go onto their social media and support the artist directly first through liking/following/sharing their posts and then buy the license product that supports a major company.
