Congratulations on the purchase! I have a Tuiko made in 1984. Good fast ones. Can produce the wood directly in the box. Thin wood is no longer a problem. After that, it's fun making firewood😁.

Well done getting the machine working well. I guess that the machine will now be better maintained with you than it was previously.

Thanks! I hope so. Works fine for now. Cheers!

Good to see you wearing protective gloves and glasses. Many guys seem to think they are macho and don't wear them.

Dear AFH projects. 👍👌👏 The device looks still fairly new to me. Congratulations 🎉 for purchasing it. Please kindly allow me 3 suggestions: It would make your life easier, if the dump truck could be placed sideways to the cutter respectively across/crossways to the conveyor belt. If the brackets are too high, you can park the tractor with the firewood processor for instance on a ramp. 2) Please try to feed in 2 pieces of slab wood. I guess that then the processed pieces wouldn't be so small. Or get rid of the thorn/spike by making a new cutting blade. With the thorn/spike the machine might be good respectively better for processing round tree trunks. There are a lot of videos existing showing similar DIY wood cutting devices made by using a modified semi truck steel rim. All of them function without a thorn/spike. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards, luck and health in particular.

Thanks! Yes, it's better to put it sideways, I had the sawmill on my way there and I didn't want to put the machine further away. I need this small firewood. I have a small stove in my tiny house on wheels. If I want bigger firewood then I'm able to place it a side so the spike will not hit the slab. Big thanks for watching and constructive comments! Cheers!

This firewood processor makes this job easy if you have a small stove and need small firewood from sawmill slabs.

Interesting machine, I've never seen something quite like that. How do it hold up to cut newer and more dense wood? I couldn't help notice that most of the wood you ran through it, was somewhat rotten and had been attacked by insects and whatnot. I could imagine it could be somewhat difficult to hold on to the wood, and the end you hold on to, could risk be kicking up in your face if not careful.

This is dry wood. It will cut fresh raw wood even better. It's not too difficult to hold and feed the logs in. Of course you need to be careful with it like any other machine. Thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers!

Park your truck side ways so you can load the front then the back
@AFHProjects3 ай бұрын
Yes, you're correct. But I did it because I had the sawmill on my way and didn't want to move the processor further away from slab pile, also I had to unload the firewood by hand to the shed so I didn't want to place the load too far from back end anyways. But thanks for the advice and watching the video! I appreciate it 🙏 Cheers!

How come you didn't work over the side of your truck and start from the front and work your way back even if you had to use both sides of the truck pulling in and pulling out it worked better than what you're doing
@AFHProjects2 ай бұрын
Yeah, it makes sense, but then I place the wood processor further away. I need to move the firewood to shed by hand anyway, and it doesn't make it easier when the wood is too far on the front end of the truck. Thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers!
