A friend of mine bought one new in 02. His was the dark blue I think it’s called True Blue. His came with the black honeycomb grill . He had the Swede seats redone back in 2020. He still has the truck with 140k on her. Sweet ride for sure. Still looks great and has been garage kept all its life. Did some mods to it .. 4 lb pulley and dyno tune. 417 rwhp. Ran a best of 12.6 @ 106 mph.

The hair dryer voltage selector is just a mechanical switch, If you where to use the this dryer in UK it will only allow you to use on the low setting cutting the current in half.

I also have a 2002 Ford Lightning that I got in the Navy in 2009. I have had it ever since and replaced the motor after the intercooler pump quit while it was hot and it grenaded the motor.

woohoo!!! of the hundreds of hours a week i watch YT the SVT Lightning is not usually recommended! i met a family who had 5 in the family, I met them early in my career as a mortician. we had them lined up in front of the funeral home for his service and had a prestine example, race truck, his daily and everything in between. mad respect!

Back in 2012 my dad bought me a 2001 lightning in silver for 18,500 with only 72k miles.. all original the only thing was that it was leveled from the rear with a 2"drop.. it was perfect.. had it for 1 year until i started working in baytown in the refineries and had it stolen along with my tools.. never saw it again..

I first saw the 2nd gen in a magazine back in 1998,I knew I wanted one. I finally bought a new red one in 01, I still have it and it only has 10k miles on it. Never driven in rain, and I only put about 1k on it in the last ten years.

god i've always loved the 2nd gen lightning. have to admit. im not a big fan of the later wheels likes on this one, the honeycomb grill and earlier wheels had a much better aesthetic imo.. beautiful truck bro congrats and cant wait to see what you have for us with this thing

My 2 best friends who were brothers who joined the Marine Corps right after 9/11 both got Ford Lightnings after one of their deployments. They were a 99 and an 03 but were both white. Looked almost identical other than small things such as wheels, etc. the older brother built his with Johnny Lighting and the younger brothers was mostly stock. I’ve never seen 2 guys pull so many chicks in my life and I always said it was the trucks not their looks 😂. I got to drive them back then and always loved the Lightning.
