I researched graveyard candles, and this is what I found, "Graveyard candles are used to commemorate the dead and express sympathy and support. They are also called cemetery lanterns, cemetery lamps, or grave lanterns. The conventional wisdom says that a grave candle brings light, warmth, and hope to the tomb. Candles symbolize the spirit or the soul, and in Christian contexts, candles can symbolize Jesus Christ. Catholics practice of leaving burning candles on the grave signifies prayers have been said for the deceased"

The tombstone candle reminds me of Dia de los Muertos (day if the dead). It’s a South American (Mexico mainly, I think) celebration honoring their ancestors, and part of it is that they decorate the tombstones and graves with candles, food, etc. It’s also where sugar skulls came from. OOOOH that might be a fun topic for one of your monster makeup history stories!

I love the idea of a "Halloween in Summer" type box! The bag and the candle in that box are adorable. I'd definitely love to see more of these! 😊

idk if a gravestone candle and a memorial candle are the same thing. but if they are memorial candles are candles with a glass around them with the image, name dob of the person and are lit at the funeral service and symbolically blown out at the end. They relit at the grave each year on the persons death day.

Sodalite is blue and you said it correctly. Clear quartz is mostly clear and smoky quartz is similar to clear quartz, just has a smoky grey/brown look.

It reminds me of Witch casket. I used to subscribe it, but then had to stop and when I returned to it, it kind of sucked, cause they have to go trough customs so u have to know what's in the box :( so u get this list on your email and have to try and mark all on the list. U cant just choose "gift ware" So it kind of takes away from it being a monthly mystery box :( Its also sad, cause all the best boxes come from UK.

@@byhazelj Yes! I kinda wish someone in Fin would do them haha! Then wouldnt have to worry bout the taxes. Ive seen so many good ones, but I bet them all have the same issue. UK especially has it, cause of the brexit thing I think. At least before that, there was no issue.
