IMO this board seems a little bit better than the GMMK Pro. It has a better gasket system, Potentially sounds better, has more colour options, the case has more personality and it doesn't have that super annoying "Glorious" branding on the back

Yeah mine was shipped the day before yesterday, I'm super hyped! Also: Make sure to at least test the board without the 2nd added foam. The ping goes away when you put some tape or stab pads at the places where the top case meets the bottom one. Keybored showed it in his video. Or check whnkeys' sound test. That way you get some more flex out of the board.

to be very honest, they didn't really solve the issue. but I followed Keyboared's mod suggestion and it now sounds pretty decent. at least for a 200$ board.

This is a great board, I have the Pro version but still main my GMMK Pro that I modded with the flex kit. What is astounding though is how much things have changed in the past two years! I modded my Q1 Pro with the acoustic upgrade kit and it makes a huge difference, cheap price too.

I made the mistake of buying a Keychron K7. What I received was NOT wireless (no dongle included) and, when connected by USB cable, many keys did not work. Keychron ignored all my requests for an RMA and a refund. Before buying anything from Keychron, think! Do you want to give your money to a company that treats its customers this way?

when mine came prebuilt that second piece of foam they added seemed to remove all the flex it didn't ping nowhere near as much as in sound tests ive heard so i just took the second piece out and added the tape force break like in Keybored's Q1 modding vid now it has all the flex and no ping that i can hear

Did y’all order accessories ? It seems that’s what’s causing them to be shipped late. For e.g. I ordered a Navy barebones Q1 with PC and FR4 plate 6 mins after it was launched. But I already saw that someone on fb received their barebones kit with PC plate. Also think the representative mentioned in the recent announcement that they ship according to order complexity and not chronologically. Oh well HAHAHAH

I'm thinking of getting one in Navy Blue with Phantom Red switches. I'm using a Das Keyboard 4 Professional with Cherry MX Browns that I won in a giveaway, so I really hope this will be worth it. I've tried Blue switches in a Logitech G710 and it was not for me, especially for gaming compared to Browns.

if you haven't bought it already (or maybe you did, fine either way) you should get some other linear switches. I use NK creams, but I'm a big fan of gateron yellows of all sorts (silk, milky). There's a whole world out there you should really look into. Stock switches are fine, even lubed and filmed phantom reds are cool, but definitely look into it.

In the meantime I just rebuilt my HAVIT KB500L Optical 64 key 60% board into an aluminum case... Its my very first build and I love the result!!! I also have a tm680 to build as well as an AKKO MOD 001 so I have a couple to keep me busy till my Q1 gets here... 👍 I jumped HEAD FIRST into the hobby about a month and a half ago and I don't see it slowing down any time soon... Perhaps KZbin will get another keyboard channel out of me... LOL!!!
