Desert is a good first trip, hopefully no pinstripes before 10,000 ks so you can enjoy the new build. Unlike myself who took my brand new nav warrior to glassy with 1000 on the clock haha. Looks beastly mate enjoy and props to superior for doing the RnD and jumping threw the hoops to be able to rego these awesome kits.

TJ, sending it out on a big trip, you’ll wanna keep an eye out on the turbo bolts, they are 12mm bolts on the top that hold the turbo to the dpf, they are notorious for falling out.

I have the outback explorer kit on my hilux and have already had the upper control arm bolt come out and steered us onto oncoming traffic, been through 4 sets of cv boots and have still having to change them.

6:53 The 300 being relatively “ new “. Changing all those suspension parts for it, unless they’ve been tried and tested for sometime, it might be a challenge. Is the chassis of the 300 the same that they had in 200 series.

Thanks Richard ! Yes speedo adjustment is one of the many requirements. The government classes these vehicles as factory so no different to buying any other vehicle new , it’s all got to comply with Australian standards
