About the time you got the 5.9 I fell from a ladder while cutting a tree and broke my pelvis and drove my thigh bone through my hip socket. I've spent the last couple years learning to walk again and not driving my 7.3. It is a 2000 Lariat with 51,500 miles and 99% original, so I'll be watching you for ideas. Best wishes for you!

Welcome back to the Channel. I miss following your 7.3 build. I bought a 2004 f250 6.0 diesel new in 2004. My biggest regret was standing right next to my 6.0 truck was the exact same truck 😢 only with the last of the 7.3 engines. I shouldn't have listened to the Salesman. Anyway after 96000 miles later, $16000.00 my 6.0 is rock solid like it should have been from the factory. Keep making those videos I very much enjoy them. I am going to enjoy following you on the new build. John😊

Dude just came across your channel. Your new SD isn't even broke in yet at the miles on it. That thing looks brand new compared to my 01 SD crew cab 4x4. Every panel has a dent and the paint is peeling off almost on every panel as well. Just about to roll 300k over on it. Mechanically it's solid I don't skip on doing pm on all three of my Fords and anything else that runs on diesel or gas sitting in the yard. Only thing I've done to mine was install a 50 gal Titan fuel tank and seats out of a 2013 SD XLT. That factory bench seat of torture that came in it was just more than my old bones could take. Looking forward to the video's to see what you do to it. Got yourself a new sub as well.

@LivingOnWheels oh I know! I've heard 3rd gens are a bit better, but still typical dodge issues. I think if they would've put the cummins in a Ford or a Chevy originally it would've been much better. my '02 7.3L XLT Excursion has rubber mats, I much prefer them, as they can be washed out or easy sweep with a brush/broom... I also bought the electric steps, at 80 a broken hip is not an Option that I want to experience. I have added a Hydra and use 65hp DD tune. S&B air filter kit. MechMan Alternator, because the crappy Hood Insulation like I see on your truck, fell down in loose spider webs and packed the Leece Neville alternator up solid, it failed from heat... ... I am now dianosing A/C issues, high side pressure is bouncing at 140-170 psi --- the Web "thinks that is Over Filled with Freon, or too much oil " ---- also installed a Fuel Sump, no more broken Draw Straws. ....
