Awesome! I’d recommend a new sight for it, the stock plastic one won’t hold zero well and the plastic around the tightening bolt will mushroom.

@Savage Sense Outdoors indeed. A better Trophy ridge sight was ordered with the bow along with a drop down arrow rest.

Never had to tighten anything on any of the the bows I own other then the bear I gave to my nephew. Just jump in and buy a flagship bow my friend

This is the first new bow I’ve bought brand new, i suppose I can’t say they all could be loose from factory. Thanks for the comment😁

@@suzgabverdugo933 my peep sight actually choked on me when I pulled back for a doe this morning. Tube popped off. Got it replaced but the bowtech said he couldn’t do a tubeless peep without switching some stuff up.

picked up the cabelas Optimus in july which is basically the Rant. price was $249 for the RTH (Ready to Hunt) package. everything on the bow was loose. went over every bolt shot it a couple times and decided i wasn’t happy the the package. so i replaced the sight with a truglo Carbon XS 5 pin, and the whisker for a QAD drop away. this is my new hunting set up, i enjoy shooting it sighted in is spot on at 40 yrds. and the only issues i have now is the string not being that great of quality but i’ll probably replace it next year.

I read that the string gets ate up quick as well. Glad you’ve got it worked out though, I’ll probably get a drop away rest next season and rip with the whiskerbiscuit for now

I’m really thinking about getting this bow. It’s like 300 on Amazon I’m just concerned with the durability of it.

I’ve only practiced with it so far. I’ve seen bad reviews about the provided bowstring getting ate up, but that’s all I’ve read. Mine still has all the provided bolt ons as well and my shot groups stay good with broadheads too

@@savagesenseoutdoors have the sights fallen off at all? cause some of the reviews say it falls of no matter how tight the bolt is

@@n4sty406 the sight is plastic and if you tighten it to much then it breaks the plastic that’s what happened to me

I haven’t had issues yet. John is correct about them being all plastic, but I snugged mine up and it’s held it’s zero since I dialed it in the first time.
