I Bought a New Cat Powered Semi! 1997 International with Straight Pipes

Today I wanted to show everyone the newest addition to my fleet. A 1997 international 9300 with a 3406E Cat engine. It’s straight piped, tuned up, and about as opposite as you can get from my ‘21 Peterbilt. We go on a short drive with some go pro footage from the hood. Listen close for that awesome sound and the jake.

Those are work horse's I still remember goin to pick up a new one in 98 with my stepdad, sure was nice. 9300 and 9900 was the last of the good lookin international's.

I had a 95 9300 3406 5ek. 15 spd. 2 million on the clock. Wish I would have just spent the money and restored it. Miss that Truck.

those were actually pretty decent back in those years, build quality was pretty good. Still the traditional class 8 design. I had a brand new 97.

I've been driving trucks for 48 yrs never understood why drivers over use the Jake brake. Unnecessary over wear on the motor. Design for down grades!

Nice truck however if you plan to put out on the road its days are numbered and states it cant go into currently because of emissions government pushing em out

First have to option your CDL. Their are tons of schools that offer train. Some even will pay the cost you just have to work for them for “x amount of years” It cost anywhere from 6000-11000$ depending what state you go to school in
