For sure Corey. 100 is definitely a good size, I didn't mean to say it wasn't. But there's definitely a difference in what you're able to do from a management standpoint in a property that size compared to the guys that own much bigger parcels. That's all I was getting at. I know guys that kill big deer somewhat regularly on very small parcels, like 10 acres, but as you know with yours there are additional challenges there. Thanks for watching! -Jared
@coreylambert53132 жыл бұрын
@@MidwestWhitetailVideos I know what you mean. I was just messing around, mostly. 😅 I've got pretty good at the small parcel hunting, taken some good deer off of my place (163") and got my 6yo son on his first deer (155") on a 17ac permission spot. One of these days I'll hopefully own a much larger spot. 🤞

It was a free range deer, not to mention it doesn’t matter because were all hunters. No animal is anyones to own that we hunt. It’s that very commet that proves your seflish. Mike gun hunts so what, Jared only bow hunts so the odds go to the gun but the bow has the hire reward. Also Mike can’t pull his bow back in winter from some shoulder problems and the cold. It doesn’t matter who kills what. Were all hunters and need to support all other hunters.

Very exciting, I've got 100 acres in Texas and hopefully you don't have a neighbor like I do who likes to kill 2 and 3 year old deer, he and his sons, their cousins and friends. If that's the case, you'll be buying back in to the River Farm real fast LOL. Presently, I am in escrow on 17 acres in the SE corner of Oklahoma. On the North border is a Warehouser tree farm 300+ acres where no hunting is allowed and on the East border is a 300+ acre tree farm that I'm not sure whether it is hunted or not. I'm hoping my prospects for mature bucks will improve in the years to come cause at my 100 acre place in Texas, last season, I've decided I'm not gonna shoot the 3 year olds anymore, just the does, which means I may never kill a buck there again. Thanks for sharing the new farm with us! Looks like loads of fun to set up and hunt. Look forward to the season beginning and watching the hunting here.
