Very nice, this is the gpu I'm wanting! I just received my cablemod 12vhpwr cable and the 90 degree adapter to prepare for my purchase!!! Such a nice looking gpu, I agree that it's the best looking 4090 out and also the most $$$$$$! But worth it!!!

Yeah I ordered those from CableMod as well. I just confirmation that it was shipping like yesterday so should be here soon. Obviously didn't wait that long to put it in my PC. Just using what came in the box for now. But yeah, I watched a lot of reviews before deciding which one to buy, this seemed like the best one and is very nice looking.

Did you have any coil whine?? I am planning on buying it! I have seen a lot of people saying they have coil whine and just as many people saying the opposite. Thinking of biting the bullet anyways!

I didn't notice any. It seems pretty quiet most of the time except when the fans are spinning really fast (usually when I'm rendering videos). I've enjoyed it and have had no problems with it.

Hey , hope you see this comment haha. I am looking to buy the same one , but I wonder how did you connect it to your pc ? Did you use 12VHPWR by any chance ? If so , is it working ?

I just used the adapter in the box, works fine have no issues with it. My power supply is a Super Flower Leadex V Platnium 1000W.

I was collecting these rog relics.was thinking to buy a rog monitor too but my wallet couldn't support me anymore.Right now have a gigabyte M32U and gigabyte rtx 3080Ti

There is a delivery tomorrow containing a Strix 4090 White OC with my name on it!! AAAAAAHHHHHH it was delayed a day! Tomorrow, you will find me perched on my porch, doing my best Snoopy vulture glare, waiting for the UPS person. I settled on a Gigabyte 4090 Gaming OC but when I loaded drivers from manufacturer and rebooted, each time the Windows 11 login screen showed, the card turned the screen black. ok, I'll wait for the one I wanted first. Have fun!!

I got a bad taste in my mouth after the GigaByte card which gave me the patience to wait for this. Ironically, it was supposed to be delivered by 7pm. :(

Thanks! I watched a lot of different reviews including some that talked about the build quality and the Strix was constantly on or near the top in terms overall specs and seemed like the best overall card.

Hopefully not but we'll see. I don't see myself working with footage greater than 2160p any time soon so the 4090 should be sufficient for the forseeable future but we'll see. Most likely, I'll upgrade my CPU and motherboard next year instead and finally make the jump to DDR5. Meteor Lake is supposed to have a much more powerful IGPU which will probably be amazing in quicksync.

The Black Strix also looks really nice. Yeah, I'm honestly shocked that ASUS was the only vendor I could find that was offering 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. Considering that HDMI 2.1 has much better bandwidth that Display Port 1.4, most people are going to want to use the HDMI 2.1 and having just one of those ports on the cards makes no sense. Most cards really should be 1 display port 1.4 and 3 HDMI 2.1.

Way too much and I think might be missing a kidney... But with as much video editing I'm doing this could literally save me dozens of hours a month and will essentially pay for itself. I never needed nor wanted a card this powerful for gaming but when you're using your computer to make money, investing in higher end hardware starts making a lot more sense. Being able to work faster and more efficiently allows me to do more and higher quality work and hopefully more content.
