Not sure how it slipped my mind but the Reggie Jackson rookie is the most prominent of this set. I have one in my collection that will be added to this partial set in the binder.

I found this video because I'm hooked on the 1969 Topps set. I recently purchased a complete set in vg/ex condition and just finished upgrading it to ex/ex+ or better. It was exciting getting a hold of these vintage cards. You done good with your find. Good luck with your set build.

Jon, you like error cards. The 1968 Larry Haney is an uncorrected error. It shows him as a left handed catcher - Topps actually used this same picture on Haney's 1968 Topps, but it was the correct way.

Nice, dude! Unfortunately i bought a '69 Aaron but it has an "A" in pen at the top, which someone also tried erasing, ruining the value even more....... I also have a Bobby Cox rookie card from the same set, with a "C" on the top. Christ........ Still have a Clemente and a Mays in pretty good shape tho. Peace!

That Nettles card is the Error, look at the top left corner and you can see the black outline is out past the colored circle. It should be right on the outer edge.

I love vintage lower grade cards as a collector. They definitely hit my needs and appease my wallet. I recently picked up a ‘69 Mantle in poor condition for a buck at a garage sale. All day. Tommy and Hank Aaron hit the most combined home runs in MLB history at 768. Hank of course hit 755 of them.

That’s a good buy, not a great buy. There were some good cards in that box, but with a few exceptions mostly all common. I collect 1969 Topps, and the Gibson would be my go to card, I do have the Banks, paid $18 dollars for it and it ain’t no mint! But hey I’ll have a complete set of 69 cards, even if I compromised a little on the stars and a post it not for the Mic!!

If you appreciate set collecting (binders are the way to go) then this is def a quality bulk pickup. 69 isn't the most premier vintage set by any means but it's still past the half century mark and still has tons of elite tier golden era HOF'ers like Aaron, Mays, Banks which you got (in addition to the Mantle and others you're missing). And if you don't don't want to fill in the full set then just give em to your bro to auction for 2x actual value.
