I Bought A Ported LSA Blower!

Hey bro. Love it man! Keep it up. Love seeing younger generations being into V8 muscle cars. Or cars in general. I've been following you since the day you got the G8. My car ss is at one of the top SS shops in the country. He has the fastest SS In the world. But yeh anyways I got a fully built and forged 6.2. With a precision 7685 turbo. Fore triple 450 pumps. And like 5 pages long worth of mods. I've dumped over 50k into this build at that one shop alone. So I don't cheap out you know? But when it came down to the throttle body my builder and my tuner which was Adam Cooper and Rick Crawford well know LS tuners. They all recommend I stayed stock throttle body. They said it would handle it no problem and be super reliable and easy to tune. And the estimated power I will be making on street tune is like 800whp. Low boost. With E85 and the boost turned up I will be hitting the 1200hp to 1300hp and even them they told me stock throttle body. Idk if PD blower is different some how. But my opinion could have saved that money bro. The stock TB can take a shit load of boost. But man I am so happy for you bro. Keep it up and prove these ppl wrong bro.

Very interesting ik for Lsa cars that’s all I hear and I’m told is 103 TB. But heck ya man I really appreciate the support. Your build sounds pretty bad ass. Maybe because of your turbo the recommend it🤔. But anything Rick says I don’t think I would argue much on 😂.

Love the setup man. Had a question for anyone out there, I’m getting my truck back next week. Had a LQ9 rebuilt, had 2 cracked sleeves but fixed and bored to a 6.2 and threw an LSA on it. Will it be that bad? Feel like it’ll be unreliable. I hope not but oh well

Well the question is what power was it making prior to cracked sleeves? As far as reliability there's a multitude of unreliable causes and typically you'll be unable to know until torn down again. I know blocks get resleeves all the time and with being said be good for a 1000whp with supporting forged internals. Boils down to tune and cooling system
