Better be extremely careful with that radical cable bend at the power plug. Both Gamer's Nexus and Jayz2Cents have many videos about that plug melting when pinched over like that. Good luck.

If you’re going to run the card in its stock settings, please use a good quality 16pin to 4x 8pin adapter. The 16 pin has the extra 4 wires for load/current capability sensing. I’m sure you’re aware of all the melting problems with these 12/16 pin connectors.

I read so many clever comments regarding 16 pin cable. 2x 6+2 PCI is more than enough as a cable. The reason some brands to provide 3 or 4x 6+2 PCI is because they are not sure for the power output of each PCI port in the PSU. There are PSUs which do not have needed power on 2 PCI outs so most companies just in case Make 2,3,4. But when this is a server in our case we have enough on each port which comes from two or four redundant powerful PSUs

The dual 8 pin can handle it, the 4x 8pin adapter from Nvidia is to make sure people don't use one 8pin to 2x 6+2pin on a single 4090. Corsair also sells 12VHPWR to 2x8pin cables, that go right into the PSU. There's a difference.

It’s about time Panda hahaha. I have 4 of those but mine are OC edition. My 4090’s came with a 4 x 8 to 16 pin power cable. My 4080 ROG Strix OC came with a 3 x 8 to 16 pin power cable.

What is the model number for that sever case? 90 degree adapters will help as long as space on top of the cards permits. Running into the same issue with a Supermicro 4028gr-trt.

They are ridiculous the size is so wild i have a gigabyte gaming 4090 and the pcb on the card only goes under the first 2 fans and all of the car on the 3rd fan from the pcie slot is just over heat sync.

Hard to come by any more. I did grab a 4080 Super for $999 at Microcenter for my son a couple of weeks ago. Now those are all gone too. I still run an RX 7900 XTX for my own gaming box and it is very capable.
