I recommend that you tighten your lower control arm bolts with the car under load, so the bushes last longer and less binding👌

I did not end up doing that, but I did jack up the control arm to put a load on it (as if the car is on the ground)

I use Valvoline 20w50, so I agree with your choice of oil. Some folk do not realize is that some synthetics froth at high temps at 8k rpm in this engine.

High revving engines need a thicker oil because it becomes thinner when it's warm . You don't want a noisy motor after 3 months. BUT RSI performance also knows the 20v motors well

@@willemj5323 I use the red can Shell Helix 20w 50 for my 160i just to be safe . It depends on your mileage because it is old engines after all.

Not necessarily. Each to their own, but I just follow my Mechanics instructions. Although I do use the red shell helix for my 2L 8v mk1.

Fresh LUK clutch and & Flywheel skeeming was done. Vibration is the front torque mount that is worn.
