Anybody with common sense could accomplish this build. I built my sons first 300 swap in 2 days at my shop in Smyrna, Delaware. Which was down the street from HHP, the nation's #1 Hemi builders. That's 2 shops in one small 1/4 mile area that are capable. Mopars are all plug and play. Btw I'm not the female in the pic, I'm on her phone.

@firedemon2166 It will still be a legit 170 for all intents and purposes if body swapped with the original 170 VIN. Apparently, in today's world, body swapping is acceptable. They body swap '70 426 Hemi RT Challengers, and they remain high dollar cars. The Demon is no different.

@@tishaanderson6367 Most classic restorations aren’t just body swapped, they just use a lot of replacement sheet metal and use whatever they can metal wise from the old car, straight up slapping a vin on another Challenger that already had it’s own vin before, doesn’t really make a 170

Lee this is one of those "Some assembly required!" cars! Those thieves should be tarred and feathered in hot oil! I think if you can find a decent Challenger chassis you will be able to make the most authentic Demon 170 clone in existence and get some awesome content as well! I hope to see more on this build!

Not sure about direct connection but concerning the color of oil. Some manufacturers break in oil is green. But i use Schaffer's Race Oil and it Green also. Yours looked more like a break-in oil. Just food for thought. A hellephant crate and its contents. Cost way more than your purchase price. If you can find one. And then you still have to purchase a transmission, not to mention a stought rear end. If engine is ok. Then you got a steal on this once in a lifetime find. You the Man!!

That would be profoundly impractical. For some vehicles like a Ford Taurus or Toyota Camry that may have been easy. But rare stuff like this, the numbers are so low it's impractical to make that many replacement parts.

@@_BAD_MERC_ The only hugely different body panel is the hood, and legally companies definitely need to be able to support warranties, and there is some sort of law mandating replacement parts be made 10 years following discontinuation, I just don’t know the fine print if it’s all body parts also

Christ man, I could not even begin to see how the hell I would be able to get this car back together. You have to have a lot of experience to be able to tackle a project like this. I would love to be able to do something like this, but I just do not have the skills to do this. The drivetrain is freaking worth the money. Damn! this is an almost $200K car??? That car has less then 100 miles.

I would love to have that drive train and install it in my 79 Plymouth Trail duster only problem is that truck is already completely tripped out with a really nice set up but not a bad idea for you. Maybe get an older Dodge pick up even a 1950s that would be really cool, because rebuilding the car I was gonna do is just have another car from the factory kind of if you see what I’m talking about
