Your tree is a " Song of India", aka, "Dragon Tree". Research indicates possible fluoride issue. Keep soil lightly moist not overly wets it is susceptible to root rot. Water with filtered water or stagnant tap water, water consistently during spring and fall( the active growing season), less during winter. Fertilize once in spring. Prune in spring just before fertilizing.. More available on "Picture This app". Hope this helps. Star

I also love old linen. I have a small collection of Quaker Lace tablecloths and I use them when we have family dinners (which is not often enough). I did some research and read that the tablecloths that have little (tiny) round balls on the border were made in the 20's and 30's. The one you showed had loops on the border - I don't know when those were made. I looked up "Sparine Injectable" and couldn't find much information other than it was used to treat psychotic disorders.

Yes I crochet. Nothing as fancy as that bedspread. My Mom did the fancy things so an estimate in time to finish that spread would be 2+ years working on it every night.

Awesome video. I think the tree is an olive tree and could do with repotting with new soil and add some fertiliser and a prune. Good luck with the tree. You could also take a cutting (tip with leaves) to a nursery that sells plants and trees and ask if anyone knows what it is, then you can look it up. Thank you for sharing your treasures 👍👍👏👏❤️❤️

I crochet, make patchwork quilts, and jewelry making, it takes a lot of time to crochet those big pieces, I have basically been making baby quilts and crocheting baby blankets and clothes because it's much faster. Wow, all those remind me of all the ones my grandmother use to have. Those were well made with lots of time and love, you can't find things like that in stores these days. I loved this video and am so happy the blacklight worked. I would say you probably spent around $485.00 in Cosco.

My Grandmother crocheted a bedspread for each of her kids. The flowers on hers were roses and everyone got to choose the colors for the roses. One was pink roses with green leaves, one was yellow roses with green leaves and mom’s were all beige roses and leaves. Mom wanted to change the colors under it for different looks. They all have knotted fringe on the edge. I treasure this item and have it on the bedroom with the furniture my grandmother had when she married. 4 generations of women have used it and looked into the vanity mirror.

15:58 the mushroom hot plate, hobby ceramics, the Arnell Company was a major mold company for the hobby ceramics industry. I had a ceramics studio from 1975 through 1984, taught lessons and had a salesman that sold my finished wares in 4 states, then transitioned into Antiques and Collectibles when nerve damage in my right hand did not allow me to hold a paint brush for hours on end. Found out I could raise my hand at auction a lot quicker than I could paint anyway.!!! lol

You need to freshen the earth each year bt taking some out, leave the roots alone and fill it with new. I think the copper pan with the heater underneath is for cheese but I cant remember what is done with the cheese except its melted with beer or white wine and bread is dipped in it. I've been very poorly and the brain isn't functioning lol. I love linen and have two thick patterned pieces that could be bedspreads or table cloths, mu late Mum used to borrow them when she did a buffet for family weddings in a hall she hired. One would almost cover a full sized snooker table. The place bed cover is a beauty and worth a pretty penny, the different table cloths have napkins that match I think, what a superb collection of quality, I love them all. The different things you showed us had me glued to my phone, what wonderful items (apart from all the out of date medications). By the way, thank you both for showing the black light on the green uranium glass, what a wonderful glow and I have wanted to see that for a long time. Its past midnight and I hopefully will have a good night so farewell for now my friends God bless you all love and hugs to you both and Ashley Mary-Ellen UK

I know this video is 2 years old, but the Kitchenaid mixer is from the 40s, and you, as a seller should know that they should never be laid on their side. The method of lubrication for the motor is a closed system, so you never have to refill it under normal situations, and if you lay them sideways, the oil can leak out. The brown color on the place where the beater attaches is some of that oil. It can pool up outside of the system, and drip out there into your batters and doughs! You should clean it there, then run it several times for 15-25 minutes at a time to make sure it's not leaking out before you sell it. Good luck.

Finding the black light! That was soooo cool! And that is a really strong one! I worked in a Burn Unit for years. We used a black light just like that..... we'd put special drops in people's eyes and then we'd use the black light to see if their eyes had been injured. Ok, you spent $1270 at Costco, that's my guess!

The copper pan set is called a Fondue set mainly from Switzerland and Austria. The bottom piece is for the metholated spirits that you light and heat the contents in the saucepan. You dip bread chunks in cheese sauce or meat chunks in oil. Very popular in the 1960/70s.
