You can't be nervous around your animals. Most tamed venomous snakes do tend to be calmer around humans. They also TEND to not use their venom in defensive bites, because venom is for prey and aids in the digestion of their food. So many species actually ration their venom instinctively. Having antivenom is also a great idea, if an expensive one. I wouldn't ever attempt it myself, but if I simply had to, antivenom would be a must. @@ju87stukadivebomber87
@PrisPrivate7 ай бұрын
@@ju87stukadivebomber87essentially I know this is commonly dismissed as bullshit but snakes really aren’t out to get you, they’re not gonna come after you unless you provoke them, snake handlers usually have experience with venomous species and know what not to do, snakes are just animals, like any other creature, as long as you aren’t doing something the snake doesn’t like and keep a safe distance then you’ll be absolutely fine, and many pet snakes like these are a lot more tame than they are in the wild due to being handled by humans and over time learning that we aren’t a threat to them… hope this info helps ^^

I’m sure you already have, but if, for some reason you have not, you should contact your local EMS, Police and Fire dispatch to inform them as to what is in your home. If for some reason emergency services need to make injury to your house or are fighting a fire. It sure would be a tragedy for a lot of them or your snakes to get hurt or killed. Firefighters for example, sometimes go in and feel their way around the perimeter until they come up on the fire. Smoke even if it’s coming from one room can quickly become blinding when it fills up a house.

Often, animals in nature will be instinctually programmed to know a venomous snake when they see it and stay away. This makes the venom often more of a deterrent than a weapon. Not to mention that they only have so much venom, so they're not gonna pick a fight if they don't have to.

Snakes belong in the wild not in captivity. I know a lot of people enjoy collecting snakes because they’re so beautiful. Many may disagree with me and I do understand.😢

Yes for sure a lot of snakes I'm not sure that these snakes are even 'domesticated' because of the venomous thing with these guys- captive breed maybe but probably it It would probably be way too much of a hassle to return these guys to the wild where they each belong and probably expensive Some snakes though you just can't release or can't just have in the wild, albinos, scaleless, snow, ghost. They wouldn't do well at all. A lot of captive bred snakes don't have survival skills though so I don't know if they'd even make it if they were normal. I don't think that applies to these guys though

That was the most chill rattlesnake I've ever seen. Most are rather pissy and shake the shit out of their rattle to let you know just how displeased your presence is making them 😂

my man must be related to Harry Potter cos that's the only logical explanation why these snake are so chill with him. I mean opening the lids knowing fully well that it could be ur last is a next level of courage.
