Technically, it is fine if they outsource some products but only if they are serious about entering a market. The products here look like they weren't expecting them to sell in the first place. While most of them keep leeching KZbin, by giving videos where they praise those products, for which they got payment. Instead of spending 2500 for a jio wifi extender, I would recommend buying a normal router like Tenda for 900 and use it as a universal repeater. I am also using a Tenda router to extend the range of our jiofiber, it works great. And if you are using more than 100mbps net then you should buy another router which is capable of sane speed

People need to understand that flaw in one thing about a country doesn't mean everything else is just bad. Without China 90% of world electronics would've been way too expensive and some would simply be infeasible to be manufactured. Even USA which also has issues with China uses electronics that are manufactured in China. Now India is slowly becoming the manufacturing hub, which is a great thing! But it will take time and it should take time to be done perfectly. Will be interesting to see where India is in 2030 if there is tremendous jump in manufacturing in India.

I think they are testing out sales of products and experimenting, if it goes well then they would plan to Make In India. Now imagine if they did a setup in India and did manufacturing in India, but the product didn't do much sales then it will be loss of jobs of new employees.
