I still remember, back in 2019 i had three choices !! Pick either of these - samsung - vivo - redmi !! And guess what i choosed redmi note 7 pro even though everyone was saying take samsung ! Best decision i ever took... Love the miui, its camera and everything... Nice video! It's been more than 4 years since I've been using Redmi Note 5 pro and it's still functioning nicely! Even the 12MP camera is able to take some nice snaps in the daylight which can be compared with a 48MP sensor. It's build quality is also awesome. The only drawback is that it's software support was eneded after Android 9.0. Other than that, it's a nice daily driver.

Bro I am very used to rooting my devices. Luckily I never faced any major issues at least there were no such issues which could not be fixed. If you install custom roms from well known popular and trusted developers you are very safe to go. I never had any issues using pixel experience roms specifically moded to be used in my redmi note 4. In case of banking apps you just have to hide the root manager app like Magisk from those apps. As simple as that and tons of instructions are also available on youtube. Benifits are like your old device feels smooth, you can get latest security updates. If you want anytime you will be able to lock your bootloader again and also be able to go back to your official stock rom. Just to be on the safe side you have to do some research and use trusted device specific softwares only. With time you will be teaching others👍

It's end of 2023 still using Redmi 5 becoz i am not a heavy user nd it's like a emotion to me now. Going to buy new phone in 2024 after using redmi 5 for 5.5 years

After redmi note 7 pro xiomi started to give low quality motherhoods redmi note 8 9 and 10 pro started to lag and freeze after 1-2 year and poco did similar but my cousin have redmi note 4 but it still run like it is new
