Finally someone says it! Lately i've felt like BBW is focusing on a cute name, cute packaging, but the scents are losing the magic. I bought a lot of mists this year and most of them are like spraying water.. extremely weak and light. I'm starting to lose my hope with them.

Another thing I feel like bath and Bodyworks is mostly focusing on how much money they can make versus the quality because I was in a store today and I was just looking around and smelling the new Christmas items and I just felt everything smell blah 😕. I really want to like vanilla bean Noel and I even sprayed it on myself just to see if I wanted to get it and I just felt like it smell very water down.

Yes! Prices are going up, while quality is going down. The wallflowers barely smell this year unless you buy thr “enhanced” versions. I’m pretty much done with BBW.

I agree. Ive returned/ exchanged about 20 candles and wallflower for having a weak throw. Some of the strengths are so different from last year. I've had better luck with glade and airwick refills.

I totally agree with you. It is not the quantity of the items you put out more the quality. I want to know I can purchase a body care product and know that it smells great on me and will last. I just bought Fireside Flurry bodyspray yesterday for$6.50. I LOVE it, lasting power is good. It smells alot like Arianna Grande CLOUD perfume to me. They both have that marshmallow smell to them.

That's exactly how I feel about the fragrance mists: very light and not lasting. I can spray my skin a few times and the scents start to fade in literal minutes. After twenty minutes, I can't smell them anymore. It really deters me to buying any more of these.

I completely agree with you about the scent projection being light. I test sprayed the new christmas mists in store and I could smell them except for the Vanilla Bean Noel. I couldn’t smell it no matter how much I sprayed the card. The Hope mist doesn’t last very long as well. It’s frustrating.

The exact same thing happened to me! I went to my store about a week ago and i sprayed the body spray for canyon on the little piece of paper and I sprayed like 10 times (no joke) and I couldn't smell a thing :(.

I have yet to try this collection but I’m super excited for Fireside Flurries after you’re review & fresh sparkling snow, have never owned that one either! I’m IN LOVE with Love, it’s my favorite of the season for sure!! Don’t know what they put in that one but it’s addicting! Also I tried vanilla bean Noel in store & I know some scents are on the lighter side but with that one I literally smell nothing at all, I remember it being that way last year & this year seems the same, it’s so weird!

Yes the hell it was, that scent used 2 be 💣 that's how good it was (WVS). I refuse 2 buy it again until they bring it back 2 the original or close to it. The same is about VBN. THAT scent used 2 be delicious back then. Wouldn't need 2 make CCP and the like if they go back 2 the original VBN.

Surprisingly I'm really enjoying HOPE... I usually don't do peach scents, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. I agree with you it is lighter than I would like. I also bought fireside flurries.. the gold gingham and pure wonder. I want to go back for JOY since I missed out on confetti cake pop in the past. I was super excited to order Christmas cookies and vanilla bean Noel in the full size fragrance mists this year (last year I got Christmas cookies in the shower gel when I was just starting to get into stuff around SAS and it’s my favorite scent ever and I got a mini vanilla bean Noel in 2019 and recently I’ve been using it a ton and it’s another one of my favorite scents and super strong and marshmallowy imo), I ordered both in fragrance mist and body cream hoping that they would be the same but every review seems to be saying they’re super light

Agree regarding scent quality and longevity. Love the fall winter line. I bought everything but 2 scents. I carry a bigger purse to reapply mist throughout day. It would help if they reevaluated their return policies. I think too many people are taking advantage of return policy on body care and candles. Their old policy worked when people once had some type of shopping return decency. They have marketing & development and employees! They need to make profit somehow.

I actually like Christmas cookies. It's my first time getting it. I got my package yesterday and I got my usual Christmas scents vanilla bean Noel and winter candy apple love those. My first impression of fireside flurries I didn't like it. Although I love cashmere it was strong. I have to try it a couple of times. I guess they discontinued snowflakes and cashmere that's what I wanted. After this it's back to shopping their SAS. bath and body raises their prices but the mist doesn't last long for the money. Noticed all the repacked and newer scents long lasting power is too low. Also, it was crazy brought a mini to carry around to reapply it was like spraying water. We have 2 literally buy a bcream or lotion 2 layer to make a scent have any kind of staying power. Yrs ago the customer didn't have 2 do that. U could use a ffm all by itself & that was good enuff. These days they want ppl to buy more products on purpose so picking out the 1's "that's stronger" really don't matter bc none of them last w/out layering which I don't always have the time 2 do. Sometimes u just wanna spray and go & still smell good. The problem is it's not just bbw. It's the sprays that's out there in other stores 2. I've come across several body sprays in stores that have the exact same issue as bbw, they sell watered down knock offs too. It's all over and the price point is the same as bbw. Lol! No wonder they are tightening up return policy! The scents have less longevity because they are trying to make money. You know marketing, employees … Probably would help if people didn’t do stuff like use half a body mist then return it for a new scent! Shopping ethics a little maybe! Think about YOUR job, how do you feel when someone rips you off!

I personally love winterberry wonder. It’s so fruity, almost like a frosted cranberry type scent and it’s really long lasting. Definitely give it a try!

@@j9lovemax292 I really want to smell snowflakes n cashmere since so many ppl seem to like it but I’m worried too. It seems like original releases are made to get ppl hooked so once they bring it out again it’s lighter/not long lasting or are reformulated and don’t smell the same! 😭
