My 4 year old is obsessed with all things spooky! Halloween is her favorite and always has been. Her birthday is early November, so she tends to pick Halloween as her birthday theme. She had her kindergarten screening the other day and the teacher asked her to draw a person and she drew a dead body with an evil baby. I was like yeah, that's pretty on brand for my girl. I swear, she's normal. She's just a little dark lol.

I love it!! Spooky season always began in August because my grandma would take me & my sister to the fabric store to pick out the pattern, and fabric and then my mom and grandma would make them..I'm basically a spooky lady all year long though lol. I LOVE watching this...I'm just loving it allll!!!! I love Fall and spooky season...one year my grandma made me and 2 of my cousins all raggedy ann doll costumes ..i wish I could find the photo!! This was in the 80s & early 90s..by mid 90s I was trying to figure out how to pass as a younger kid because I never wanted trick or treating to end. I would love to send you some of the handmade stuff I make for spooky season every year...it helps me feel better when I have the Morbs (lol...Victorian slang for feeling not so happy) Thank u Celina you took my morbs away! Girl...my family home(built by a relative 116 yrs ago I think) was always suuuper Addams Family-ish...whenever i felt like the popular rich kids were talking sh#t , I would get that Wednesday Addams release of Dopamine and be like damn...this house is cool AF! Even our porch lights look like something from Dracula's castle. **ok...sorry I wrote a chapter there.

I bought my first house 20 years ago and was getting all excited for Halloween, when I was informed that no kids lived on the street that would Dare to go door to door. There were some right next door but their mother was so scared of everything that she would bundle them off to church to pray away the demons.😐 So I never got to hand out candy nor even bothered to decorate after the first year. Now I live in a retirement community and there are fewer kids in a 20 mile radius than there were on my old street! 😕

My Mom is raising my 2 nieces who are now 14 and 15. When they were about 12 I told my Mom she needs to put a sign by her front door that reads: Caution: Teenagers inside. Omg Celina, I got custom removable fangs from a booth one time I went to Dragon Con, the guy even colored them to match my teeth. And they fit snug so all you’d do is put them on you canines and they stay put without any of that putty goo.. When I got them years ago it was like a hundred bucks all together and they are still good today.
