If they wanted their personal effects they should have emptied the locker before they decided to stop paying for it. They do have that option. Nice finds in this locker. $5 was a great buy. @ 9:20 Those are the feet/legs for the couches. You often have to take them off to fit a sofa through a door. So they left them off until they moved into another home and could get their stuff out of storage. That's why there's a screw driver and screws in the bags as well. It's to reattach the legs.

The furniture piece at the end / console table actually looked like it might be good quality but someone had painted it black and silver to match their decor. I kinda liked it. Paint it white, distress it, and you could easily sell it for $150 at the flea market. Give it to your furniture friends.

So easy to find replacement cords for the electric fry pan. The print from Kmart is unique, the artist paints things in the picture that would be out of place and out of time. For instance, you would never have the 4 people in the picture in the same room at the same time. Elvis, Marilyn, James Dean...etc. there might be a laptop in the picture, not even invented till after Marilyn was dead.

You can get glasses pretty cheap now days. If you go to the eye doctor and get your prescription, you can buy them online. I use zenni optical. I can get a set of glasses with the lenses for as cheap as 5 dollars and they’ll have a much bigger selection than a eye doctors office who will only have a small selection for Medicade and fedelis customers. I ended up paying 35 dollars for 2 sets of eye glasses. They do take about 3 weeks to arrive since they only ship first class usps. And you do have to measure the width between your pupils. They fit just as good as if they were fitted at the doctors office.

How do you like your new van, We have been looking at them, trying to decide. I have not driven one yet. My normal setup is minivan and trailer. we have an open 16' and an enclosed 12' . Plenty of roof but would love bigger van so I do not have to drive trailer around all the time. We do alot of auctions and setup alot at fleamarket.

Those toy cars in the first box were your money back and then some. That cane is technically a walking stick - no hook/handle. just a knob; it's got biker written all over the design. The wire to that frying pan was in the bag of cords; it ought to be with the pan, but people do weird things. The Texaco truck bank - check underneath for something that may open with a key; double-checked that model on line; there's a keyhole in the bottom. The picture is Elvis, Marilyn and James Dean. And just to run on some more, probably preaching to the choir, but check the couches for loose change. You might even find enough to pay for the locker.

Not as a rule, we run a storage and we want to get as much as we can for the unit there has to be good stuff to get interest. Once you have been in the business long enough you don't want any of the stuff and trying to sell it is a pain. And I would much rather not have to clean the unit out as you say, for sure. And make the most on the sale of the unit.

I've worked in nursing homes and long term care places all over SC, and NC family members dump the love one belongings in storage and forget about using the money to pay their bill and end up losing everything. They would just keep the money instead of paying the storage .it's so sad to see. I've watched this happen too often ,so sad.

I disagree ….my job put it like this using a back brace your relying on it and your muscles get weaker...when you forget it or don't use it a year of more later your going to get hurt as your body isn't ready FOR THE LOAD YOUR MOVING....I didn't agree and used a brace and 6 months down the road my back couldn't take the pallets I moved every day.

The Maisto Harley bike goes with the Maisto Harley-branded Ford Pickup...and should fit into the bed. If it doesn't, they a just paired...! When it comes to packing a van, you should pack the big stuff first, filling up any usable spaces with smaller stuff...before packing any mid-sized or awkwardly shaped items such as lamps etc. in...! The way you pack a van, sometimes reminds me of someone I know...who could fill a van only with about a quarter of what I could fit in...!
