Nothing showcases more if your wife is married to you for love or for your money than a bad economy... Protip before proposing to your girl or getting into marriage: 1. Pretend you lost your job and now work a entry level job or just going through some sort of financial hardship. 2. Pretend your car was repo'd (just stick it in storage or park elsewhere). 3. If you use to always go out with, buy gifts, etc for your girlfriend, stop completely. 4. Pretend you sold off your items of high value (just stash in storage or hide in a closet/attic). Keep up this illusion for at least a month and if your girl still loves you and sticks by your side through the pretend hardship, she's a keeper.. However if she grows less interested in you, she grows distant, gets angry over your finances/situation, or worse, she breaks up with you, then you know that your dodging a bullet as she doesn't really love you for you, rather she loves your money and what your money/financial security offers her.

I can tell you, that man is spot on. Everything i had went into 3 trash bags upon getting kicked out of the house I bought. Everything I'd worked for, 15 years was gone in a heart beat. I've been told by the police, first the woman who calls gets the power. After that the kids, then the Dog get's rights before I do... DONT GET MARRIED !! My mum bought a 2007 sl 500 amg and I was dreading the amount of work that was going to be needed for the car. 5 years later the only thing that has ever broken was the a/c compressor. Absolutely the best purchase I've ever seen and a hell of a car to rip through the mountains

Make sure he changes get the correct spec plugs and gap them to 0.8mm. After he changes the probably blown ignition coils from sparkplugs with too large a gap he should have a reliably sparking engine.

I got my 01' S500 in a similar situation, but surprisingly, it was well maintained throughout it's many rough relationships. It's also more loaded out than most S500's I've seen, it has Distronic, ABC, and rear power seats. I do have it for sale, would be kinda cool to see it go to an automotive KZbinr lol
