I happened on to your videos. These jars are very nice, got some good colors. Love them Globe jars. Don't know if you know this or not but those were made by the Hemingray Glass Co. Same Hemingray that made insulators. I'm an insulator and lightning rod collector but I appreciate any old glass. Enjoy watching your videos.

1st thank you for taking the time to show these jars. 2nd just inherited a 100 yr old property and I've found a lot of these jars in the basement that they used to can with some with food from 40+yrs ago. Love learning about them playing on using some for my canning.

How do you match the glass lids with the jars? This lady actually canned with these and lids are in a bag and the jars were in boxes? Sorry to bug ya😁

How did so many companies get by with using the Mason name?

Because his patent license expired in 1879. Mason died basically penniless, and with little recognition for his hugely important invention.
